Lake Havasu Witch Paddle returns to The Nautical Beachfront Resort on October 25th, 2026 for a Halloween-themed paddle through the Bridgewater Channel. Registration opens at 9:30 AM, followed by live performances, the group launch, the main water experience, a costume contest and raffle prizes.
Hosted by Southwest Outfitters, the event invites participants to dress in witch-themed costumes, bring their own paddleboard and take part in one of Lake Havasu City’s most distinctive fall traditions. The event also includes food, drinks, vendors and an after-party at The Turtle Bar & Grill.
Dress Up and Bring Your Own Paddleboard
Participants are encouraged to arrive in their best witch attire and bring their own paddleboard for the event. Paddleboards are not included with registration, so anyone planning to join the water portion needs to bring the appropriate equipment.
Each registered participant receives entry to the event and one raffle entry. Branded merchandise and additional event items are not included with the standard registration ticket.
Live Performances Before the Paddle
The morning begins with registration at 9:30 AM, followed by safety and event announcements. Live performances start at 10:00 AM before participants prepare for the group launch.
The main Witch Paddle launch is scheduled for 11:00 AM, giving participants time to check in, get organized and hear any final instructions before heading onto the water.
Paddle Through the Bridgewater Channel
The main paddle and water experience runs from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM. Participants launch from The Nautical Beachfront Resort and head into the Bridgewater Channel in costume.
The route combines Lake Havasu scenery with a large group paddle, creating a colorful on-water Halloween event rather than a traditional race. Participants should be comfortable using their paddleboard and following event-day water safety instructions.
Costume Contest and Raffle Prizes
After the paddle, the event continues with a costume contest and raffle prizes at 12:30 PM. Participants are encouraged to get creative with their witch costumes, with prizes available during the contest and raffle.
The event atmosphere continues onshore with vendors, food and drinks available during the day.
After-Party at The Turtle Bar & Grill
Following the main event, participants can continue the afternoon at The Turtle Bar & Grill at The Nautical Beachfront Resort. The after-party takes place after the costume contest and raffle portion concludes.
The Nautical Beachfront Resort also provides direct lake access and complimentary event parking, making it a convenient host location for both the paddle and the post-event activities.
Tickets and Registration
Registration is $12 plus applicable tax and service fees. Every participant must register to take part in the event. Registration includes the participation fee and one raffle entry but does not include a paddleboard, branded apparel or additional merchandise.
