One Crazy Weekend brings Volkswagen owners and enthusiasts together at The Orleans Hotel & Casino from October 1st through October 4th, 2026, for four days of car culture, cruises, competitions, and social events. Organized by Let’s Talk Dubs Podcast and The Wagen, the weekend centers on classic and customized Volkswagens while adding a poker tournament, desert drives, bowling, a car show, a Las Vegas Strip cruise, and the event’s signature poker run.
This is more than a single-day car show. Participants can spend the weekend using their Volkswagens around Las Vegas, meeting other owners and joining activities that move beyond the hotel parking lot. The Orleans serves as the main gathering point, with several drives and activities heading to other parts of Southern Nevada.
A Full Weekend Built Around Volkswagens
The weekend begins Thursday with vehicle roll-in from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for pre-registered cars. Later that day, participants can join the VW Trends Poker Tournament inside The Orleans poker room. Tournament space is limited, making it one of the activities that requires advance registration.
Friday moves the action onto the road. A Baja Run departs the hotel at 7:00 AM and heads through Cottonwood Pass toward Goodsprings, giving Baja Bugs and other prepared Volkswagens a chance to get off pavement. Other participants can join a separate Red Rock-area cruise geared toward street cars.
The afternoon includes the Ross Wulf Bowling Tournament, followed by a Friday evening meetup. At 8:00 PM, Volkswagen owners head out for a casual cruise along Las Vegas Boulevard before returning to The Orleans.
Saturday Car Show and Poker Run
Saturday is the busiest day of One Crazy Weekend. The Volkswagen car show runs from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at The Orleans, bringing together show cars, specialty builds and VW enthusiasts from around the region and beyond. The show includes a Top 20 format along with specialty awards, including a $1,000 Best of Show cash prize.
The official event page currently states that car show registration is sold out. Visitors can still follow the weekend’s other activities, but those hoping to enter a vehicle in the show should not expect additional car-show spaces unless organizers announce a change.
Saturday evening brings the Let’s Talk Dubs Poker Run. Participants travel to several designated stops to collect cards before returning to The Orleans for their final card. Cash prizes are awarded for the top hands, including $1,199 for first place, $500 for second, and $300 for third.
Sunday Pool Party at The Orleans
The weekend continues Sunday with the One Cool Pool Party beginning at 12:00 PM at The Orleans pool area. The casual final-day gathering gives out-of-town attendees and local VW owners another opportunity to spend time together after the car show, cruises, and competitions wrap up.
The Orleans is located west of the Las Vegas Strip on Tropicana Avenue. Visitors looking for other activities during the weekend can also explore more events happening around the Paradise area.
Registration, Parking and Participation
Several parts of One Crazy Weekend require separate registration. Reserved VW parking for the four-day weekend is $60 and includes the assigned secured parking space plus entry into Saturday’s car show for registered vehicles. That fee does not include additional activities.
The Poker Run costs $50 in advance and includes a limited-edition event shirt; day-of registration is $75 if space remains. The Ross Wulf Bowling Tournament costs $25 and includes shoe rental. The poker tournament also requires a separate buy-in and has limited capacity.
Tickets and Registration
Different activities require separate registration, and the official event page currently lists the car show as sold out. Poker Run and bowling registrations remain separate from the secured parking package. Participants can review current availability and register through the official One Crazy Weekend event page.
