Speed Friending at Red Rock – Looking to meet new friends who love the outdoors as much as you do? Speed Friending at Red Rock is a fun, welcoming way to connect with fellow adventure-seekers while exploring one of Southern Nevada’s most stunning natural spaces.

Hosted by Bureau of Land Management Rangers, this interactive program takes place at the scenic Red Spring Picnic Area and invites participants to meet, mingle, and make meaningful connections with others who enjoy hiking, exploring, and caring for public lands.

Through guided activities and casual conversations, you’ll get to know other nature-lovers while learning more about the unique landscape, recreation opportunities, and conservation efforts at Red Rock Canyon.

Whether you’re new to Las Vegas, hoping to find future hiking buddies, or simply looking to expand your outdoor community, this speed-friending experience offers a relaxed and engaging way to connect—both with people and with the land that brings us together.

Interpretive programs at Red Rock Canyon are offered as a free public service, making the experience accessible and enriching for all.

Advance registration is required. While the event itself does not take place on the Scenic Drive, visitors planning to explore the drive or the Visitor Center before or after should secure a Timed Entry Reservation through recreation.gov.
