VIVA Taco Festival takes over Craig Ranch Regional Park from October 30th through November 1st, 2026 for three days of tacos, live music, Lucha Libre, lowriders, fútbol, carnival rides and Día de los Muertos traditions. The family-friendly festival combines food and entertainment with cultural programming, competitions, and special events happening throughout Halloween weekend.
The festival begins Friday evening before expanding into full-day celebrations on Saturday and Sunday. Friday starts at 5:00 PM, Saturday runs from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and the final day runs from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Tacos, Food Vendors and Mexican Flavors
Tacos are at the center of the weekend, with taco vendors, food trucks, and local restaurants serving throughout the festival. The complete vendor lineup will be announced closer to the event, giving visitors a chance to sample different styles while moving between the entertainment and activities.
A Taco Eating Competition adds another interactive element. Participants can sign up on-site while space remains and compete for festival bragging rights.
Lucha Libre, Music and Cultural Performances
The entertainment lineup includes Lucha Libre, live music, mariachi, and cultural performances across the three-day festival. Additional artists and performance schedules are expected to be announced as the event gets closer.
Sunday places a stronger focus on Día de los Muertos traditions, with community altars and cultural displays incorporated into the festival. The weekend is designed to celebrate Mexican food and entertainment while also creating space for family, remembrance, and cultural traditions.
360 Carshow Weekend
Car culture is another major part of VIVA. The 360 Carshow Weekend begins Saturday with Cars & Tacos, welcoming imports, domestics, classics, muscle cars, exotics, trucks, and custom builds.
Sunday shifts toward lowrider culture, with featured lowriders, custom paint, chrome, hydraulics, cultural displays and Día de los Muertos altars. Spectators can explore the car show with their regular festival admission, while vehicle owners who want to enter their cars or motorcycles must register separately.
The festival fills a large portion of Craig Ranch Regional Park, one of North Las Vegas’ largest parks and a frequent location for community festivals and outdoor events.
Fútbol and the VIVA Los Muertos 5K
The weekend also includes a two-day youth soccer tournament with boys’ and girls’ divisions from U5 through U18. Recreational, competitive, school, and community teams can participate, although team registration is separate from general festival admission.
On Sunday, the VIVA Los Muertos 5K Glow Run begins at 5:00 PM. The run is open to different ages and fitness levels, including runners and walkers, and starts and finishes inside the festival.
Family Activities Throughout the Weekend
VIVA Taco Festival is family-friendly, with carnival rides, activities, food, entertainment, and cultural experiences available throughout the park. Children measuring 43 inches and under receive free General Admission.
Friday also includes a free Trunk or Treat connected to the VIVA Pumpkin Patch. Families must register separately for the Trunk or Treat, and children are encouraged to wear costumes while collecting candy from decorated vehicles.
