Little Avalon: A Coastal Cafe in Las Vegas

Little Avalon is a charming all-day coastal café and full-service restaurant that’s quickly becoming a local favorite. With two convenient locations in the city, one in Summerlin, this eatery offers a menu packed with healthy and delicious options to suit every taste.

Upon entering, Little Avalon radiates a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The décor blends coastal charm with a modern touch, creating an atmosphere perfect for families, friends, or even a quiet work session.

The lively background music and the friendly smiles of the staff make you feel right at home. At the entrance, stylish merchandise catches your eye, offering everything from branded apparel to reusable drinkware. It’s a nice touch that reflects the café’s vibrant personality.

Coastal Flavors: Exploring Little Avalon’s Menu

Little Avalon’s menu is a true testament to its coastal inspiration, offering a variety of wholesome and indulgent dishes. I enjoyed trying some of their signature dishes on my recent visit, and they did not disappoint.

Island Teriyaki Bowl

First up was the Island Teriyaki Bowl, a colorful masterpiece that combines white rice with pickled cucumbers, tender broccolini, and fresh pineapple. The dish is topped with a generous teriyaki sauce, spicy mayo, and a garnish of microgreens.

You can also choose your protein—chicken, steak, or tofu. I opted for salmon, which was perfectly cooked and added rich flavor to the dish.

Every bite was a delicious balance of sweet, savory, and spicy—a true celebration of island-inspired cuisine.

Spanish Bowl

Next, I sampled the Spanish Bowl, a hearty and flavorful dish featuring sautéed black beans, street corn, and your choice of protein with white or brown rice.

The bowl has pickled pineapple pico, serrano poblano crema, and spicy pepitas. (sunflower seeds)  All are garnished with a sprinkle of microgreens.

The combination of textures and bold flavors made this dish an instant favorite. The crema added a creamy richness that tied everything together beautifully.

Mexican Caesar Salad

For a lighter option, the Mexican Caesar Salad was a standout. This isn’t your typical Caesar salad—it’s elevated with pan-seared Brussels sprouts, shredded parmesan, and capers.

The chopped romaine lettuce is tossed in a house-made Caesar dressing and topped with homemade croutons, green onions, togarashi, and Parmesan crisps.

The blend of fresh and roasted ingredients and the creamy and tangy dressing made this salad both refreshing and satisfying.

Specialty Drinks

No visit to Little Avalon would be complete without trying one of their specialty drinks. I opted for the Strawberry Blended Frap, a creamy and fruity delight that was as refreshing as indulgent. It’s the perfect pick-me-up and pairs wonderfully with any of the café’s dishes.

They also offer alcoholic drinks, allowing guests to enjoy their meal with a cold beer or a chilled wine. Perfect if you’re relaxing with friends or unwinding after a long day.
