The Cities of Boulder City and Henderson are joining forces for the Second Annual Community Day of Service on Saturday, September 6, 2025, a day dedicated to honoring first responders and all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. This meaningful event brings together residents from across the region to give back, celebrate unity, and make a lasting impact in their communities.

Volunteers are invited to gather at Cornerstone Park in Henderson (1600 Wigwam Parkway) at 8:00 AM for a free breakfast and project kickoff. Afterward, participants will head out to one of fourteen community service projects, including three in Boulder City, focusing on a variety of local needs.

Projects may include park cleanups, assistance at local nonprofit organizations, donation drives, and other hands-on activities that directly benefit the community.

This event is a wonderful opportunity for families, friends, civic groups, and individuals to come together, work side by side, and honor the legacy of September 11 through service and unity. Participants will not only make a tangible difference but also strengthen community connections and foster a spirit of collaboration and goodwill.

Whether you’re a longtime volunteer or new to community service, this day provides a meaningful way to give back, reflect, and support the communities of Boulder City and Henderson. By participating, you help keep the memory of heroes alive while creating a positive impact on the lives of others.
