The best Las Vegas days sometimes start away from the Strip—with sunshine, crisp fall air, and the promise of a lakeside coffee.
Last Sunday, we rode the motorcycles out to Lake Las Vegas, where October and November gift the valley a steady 75–80 degrees and a reason to be outside.
We planned to linger all day. But first: caffeine. That’s how we met Da Remo.
At first pass, it’s the soundtrack that pulls you in—Italian classics floating from the patio speakers—and then the sight of a small, European-style counter café that feels more Rome piazza than suburban Nevada.
Order at the bar, take a seat, listen to the lake gently animate the village. It’s simple, it’s personal, and it sets the tone for the day.
First sip, first bite
We walked in for coffee and walked out with breakfast—because the display case does what display cases are meant to do. Behind glass: glossy cornetti, rustic tarts, and savory bakes that make “just a latte” impossible.

What we ordered
House Lattes
Creamy, balanced, and properly hot—pulled with confidence and served fast enough that the crema still looked photo-ready when we sat down. If you prefer a stronger edge, ask for an extra shot; the espresso holds up beautifully to milk.
Blueberry Muffin
Not a sugar bomb—more bakery than bake-mix. A tender crumb, berries that taste like berries, and just enough top crust to pair with a latte. Split it if you’re saving room for a panini…
Chicken Quiche
Light custard, savory chicken, and a crust that actually flakes. The portion is café-sized—perfect for a morning on the patio or as a warm-up before a lakeside stroll.

Atmosphere that does the hosting for you
Inside, the footprint is small—intentionally so. Think classic Italian coffee bar: a few tables, a compact counter, conversation carried softly between friends.
While we waited to order, our neighbors were mid-catch-up: one couple new to Vegas getting the rundown on local hidden gems. (We slipped them a business card—of course.)
Outside is where Da Remo shines. The patio faces the water, and that view does something to the pace of a morning.

Around us, travelers and locals eased into the day with cups, pastries, and not much urgency.
No elaborate ceremony—just coffee, sunlight, and the kind of setting that makes you breathe a little deeper.
Menu highlights beyond the pastry case
Da Remo’s bench is deeper than espresso and sweets. The kitchen leans all-Italian with a lineup that works for breakfast through late morning and an easy lunch.
Italian staples worth a stop
Espresso & Cappuccino
Short, focused shots and properly foamed cappuccinos. If you miss European milk ratios, you’ll be happy here.
Cornetto (the Italian croissant)
Buttery and light with just a touch more sweetness than the French cousin. Plain is lovely; filled varieties rotate and pair well with an Americano.

Panini & Croissant Sandwiches
Pressed to order, classic combos (think prosciutto, mozzarella, tomato) with crisped bread and melty centers. An ideal take-to-the-lake option.
Toasts & Omelettes
Simple, fresh, and sized for a leisurely morning. Avocado or ricotta-honey on toast, veggie or ham-and-cheese omelettes—clean flavors that don’t slow you down.
Service, sourcing & the Da Remo story
Part of what makes Da Remo feel different is the throughline: recipes and ingredients that nod to Italy, and a family story that began near Rome in 1931.
The café channels that spirit without the pretense: warm greetings, quick bar service, and food that tastes like someone cares about it.
It’s the kind of place where the staff remembers your second order by the time you finish your first. Small room, big hospitality.

Why we’ll be back
Because Da Remo is exactly what Lake Las Vegas mornings ask for: simple things done well.
A well-pulled espresso, a flaky cornetto, a seat that faces the water, and enough Italian music in the background to make the village feel like a getaway.
Next time you’re out at the lake, start (or end) your stroll here. Order a cappuccino and a cornetto. Thank us later.
