Road trips between Las Vegas and California can be long and tiring. A stop at Eddie World makes things more fun. This themed gas station in Yermo offers food, treats, and entertainment in one spot.
It’s a refreshing break that adds excitement to the drive. With so many choices packed inside one building, it feels less like a stop and more like a destination.
What in the World is Eddie World?
Eddie World is California’s largest gas station and not your typical pitstop. Located in Yermo on the I-15, it offers endless gas pumps and even EV charging stations.
You’ll spot Eddie World along the I-15 by its massive decorated ice cream cup rising out of the desert, complete with a huge sign that makes it impossible to miss.

Inside, you’ll find three fast-casual restaurants serving fresh sandwiches, sushi, gourmet burgers, fries, and custom pizzas ready in 90 seconds.
Travelers can also enjoy chicken tenders breaded onsite or healthier options like fresh salads made daily. The spot also features a Peet’s Coffeeshop, homemade popcorn, premium Jedidiah’s Jerky, and famously large restrooms. It’s just minutes away from Peggy Sue’s 50s Diner, another roadside gem worth visiting.

With all these offerings, it’s more than fuel—it’s a complete travel stop that draws families, road trippers, and commuters alike.
Step Into The Candy Kingdom
Eddie World is known for its giant candy selection, and everything is made by them. From sour strips and gummy rings to chocolate pretzels and homemade popcorn, there’s a sweet for everyone. The huge candy section is stocked with colorful flavors and textures to explore.
Nuts, chocolates, dried fruits, and even sugar-free options cover nearly every craving possible.
Don’t miss the homemade ice cream parlor, where every batch is crafted on-site. Unique flavors like pumpkin pie and banana taffy stand beside classics such as chocolate, butter pecan, vanilla, and chocolate chip. The parlor’s colorful counter and rich aromas add to the charm, making it a perfect mid-trip treat.
Fresh, Fast, and Fully Loaded Meals
The food court at Eddie World is one of its biggest highlights. Travelers can grab pizza, burgers, salads, sushi, or Mexican food prepared fresh. During my visit, I enjoyed the carne asada California burrito packed with guacamole, sour cream, cheese, fries, carne asada, and pico de gallo.

My family also tried the fried chicken Caesar salad, which included crispy fried chicken breast bites, greens, avocado, and Caesar dressing. The roast beef sandwich was another favorite in my family, layered with roast beef, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, and a side of fries.
Each bite carried fresh ingredients that felt more like a local deli than a roadside stop. Indoor and outdoor seating give travelers plenty of space to enjoy these meals before getting back on the road.
Jedidiah’s Jerky: A Carnivore’s Dream
Inside Eddie World, you’ll also find Jedidiah’s Jerky, offering fresh jerky by the pound or packaged. The store lists the origin of each jerky, its ingredients, and nutritional details.
Travelers can choose from flavors like Lemon Peppered Jerky, Cowboy Thick Cut, and Classic Black Peppered.
The variety also includes sweet, smoky, and spicy jerky options that appeal to every taste preference. The jerky selection is both wide and unique, giving snackers a reason to stock up before hitting the highway.
Stuffed Animals to Legendary Hardwood Floors
Eddie World isn’t just about food and fuel; it’s also a fun place to shop. The store sells plush toys, stuffed animals, and has arcade claw machines for kids. Rows of souvenirs line the aisles, from small trinkets to road trip essentials. One of the most surprising finds is a rare piece of basketball history on display.

They feature one of only two hardwood basketball floors from the Great Western Forum in Inglewood. This court was home to the Los Angeles Lakers from 1967 to 1999, where they won six NBA championships.
The floor witnessed the “Showtime” era with Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan’s first NBA title, and an incredible home record of 889 wins and 227 losses. Standing before it connects sports fans with a legendary piece of history during their stop, adding unexpected depth to the visit.
Fuel and Recharge Before the Road
Of course, Eddie World is still a gas station with plenty of fuel pumps ready for travelers. Alongside gasoline, EV drivers can also use charging stations located on-site.
This makes Eddie World a convenient stop for every kind of vehicle. The ability to fuel up, grab a snack, and stretch your legs keeps travelers moving with ease.
Stopping here helps break up the monotony of the highway, making the drive itself more enjoyable.
Plan Your Next Pitstop
Eddie World turns a quick stop into part of the journey. Between the food, treats, souvenirs, and fuel, it makes road trips less ordinary. It offers something for kids, adults, and even sports fans who stumble across its hidden gems.

On your next drive along the I-15, plan a visit and enjoy what this unique stop has to offer.
