If there’s one thing Las Vegas locals appreciate, it’s a well-designed park for kids—and this one checks all the boxes. Perched atop a hill (hence the name), Fox Hill Park offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip and surrounding valley, making it a stunning backdrop for a day of outdoor fun.
Even if you’ve never considered yourself a park enthusiast, this one might just change your mind.
First Impressions: A Park Designed by Engineers
Located in West Summerlin on Antelope Ridge Drive, Fox Hill Park is truly one of the coolest parks in Las Vegas. Thoughtfully designed by expert engineers, the park prioritizes both safety and excitement.
It features rope courses, swings, parkour challenges, zip lines, giant slides, and the impressive Genesis XL Mast Net—a thrilling climbing structure built for adventure.
From the moment you arrive, you’ll notice its vibrant, modern design and thoughtfully planned layout, making it a standout destination for families.
My 2-year-old had an absolute blast, but this park is especially ideal for older kids (5+) who love adventure-packed play areas. Everything is colorful, unique, and in pristine condition, creating an inviting atmosphere for all ages.
One of the best features of Fox Hill Park is its breathtaking panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip and valley, particularly from the top of the slides.
Whether you’re visiting in the morning with the sun rising over the city or catching the golden hues of sunset, the scenery adds an extra layer of magic to the experience.
Parking is conveniently located at the base of the park, safely tucked away from busy roads. While there is a short trek up the hill to reach the main play areas, Fox Hill Park is designed to be inclusive and accessible.
Visitors and parents can use the paved pathways and smooth trails that make it easy for strollers and wheelchairs to navigate.
The Orange Beast: a 32-foot Climbing Structure
The massive play structures tower over the park, creating a vibrant and dynamic space filled with opportunities for exploration. From imaginative play areas to a 32-foot climbing tower, every inch of this playground is thoughtfully built by engineers to inspire movement and fun.
One of the most exciting highlights of Fox Hill Park is its 32-foot climbing structure called the Orange Beast. The name itself makes this feature exciting for kids.
This is a custom designed ropes course with nets that twist and turn, rise and fall in a connected path. We opted out of this one, but if your child loves to climb, then this one is perfect.
When you’re done exploring the orange beast, check out the tallest slide in Summerlin – or so they say. Kids can climb to the top, take in the breathtaking views, and then enjoy an exhilarating ride down, making it an instant favorite for thrill-seekers.
But the fun doesn’t stop there—interactive climbing structures, obstacle courses, and rope bridges challenge kids to test their agility and coordination while keeping them engaged for hours.
If your little ones are thrill seekers and bold adventurers, then they will certainly love the zipline. There are two on both sides of the park.
More Than Just a Playground: Amenities & Extras
For those who enjoy walking or jogging, Fox Hill Park offers an ideal setting. Spanning 18 acres, this expansive park provides ample space to explore, with scenic trails that make for a perfect morning stroll or an invigorating run.
The well-maintained paths wind through beautiful landscapes, offering stunning views that enhance the outdoor experience.
One of the park’s standout features is its 18-hole disc golf course, designed to be both enjoyable and accessible for beginners and seasoned players alike.
