If you’re anything like me—a local Vegas mama constantly on the hunt for ways to burn toddler energy without melting under the desert sun—then let me introduce you to one of my all-time favorite indoor playgrounds: Wally Wombats.
Wally Wombats isn’t just a play place, it’s a whole experience. Shoes off, socks on, and the second you step inside, your little one is in a padded paradise of movement, color, and joy!
Two Convenient Spots, One Giant Kid Oasis
Wally Wombats has two locations to make your life just a little easier. Whether you’re in Henderson or closer to Northwest Las Vegas, there’s a location waiting to welcome you and your crew.
Parking is easy, signage is clear, and both spaces are pretty much identical in setup, so no matter where you go, your kiddo is getting the full Wally experience.
Before you can enter the padded paradise, you’ll need to sign a waiver—either online ahead of time or right there at the front desk. It’s fast, straightforward, and totally worth it for the peace of mind.
They’ll also collect your shoes before entering the indoor playground and place them in a bin for safekeeping. No shoes allowed inside means a clean, soft, and safe surface for all the little climbers and crawlers.
Pro tip: bring grip socks for your kids! While socks are required, having the grippy kind helps them navigate the slippery padded areas like champs.
The Main Attraction: That Glorious Padded Playground
Wally Wombats is like a toddler’s version of Disneyland—all packed into one room. The padded play structure is massive and designed for exploration, climbing, and straight-up joy.
It’s a multi-level jungle of:
- Slides galore (twisty, straight, short, and long)
- Ball pits that feel like a warm hug of fun
- Interactive floor games that light up and respond to movement
- Bouncy teeter-totters that kids literally line up for
- Mini bikes and push carts for racing around the open lanes
- Tunnels, bridges, ramps, and padded steps everywhere
- Spinning pods for kids who love to twirl (or get dizzy in style)
- Moving structures that shake, bounce, or roll (totally safe and surprisingly giggle-inducing)
- Even a soft foam obstacle course to climb over or crawl through
My toddler’s personal favorite? The little section where they can “drive” around in soft ride-on cars like they own the road. It’s the cutest road rage I’ve ever seen.
Happy Hour for Parents? Kind Of…
Okay, not that kind of happy hour, but Wally Wombats has a sweet deal for those of us with tiny tots. They offer a “Toddler Happy Hour”, where you get discounted admission during weekday hours.
The pricing varies slightly by location and day, but if you’re home with a little one during the week, this deal is your golden ticket.
A Hub For All Toddler Birthday Parties
Wally Wombats knows how to throw a birthday bash. They have private party rooms you can rent, and they handle the hard stuff—setup, cleanup, and sometimes even pizza. You can decorate the space, bring in your own cake, and let the kids go wild in the play area.
I’ve heard of some mom friends who’ve had birthday parties here, and each one was fun, easy for the parents, and memorable for the kids.
Because the play structure is so big and open, kids don’t feel boxed in, but the single entrance/exit system means they’re safe the entire time. You’ll feel better knowing your kid can’t sneak out without passing you first.
The Arcade: Just Enough to Keep Things Spicy
Just off to the side is a small arcade with kid-friendly games and machines. It’s not overwhelming, and it’s not going to hijack your entire visit, but it’s a fun little add-on.
Think a couple of claw machines, a racing game or two, and a few light-up tap games. My kid usually plays one or two and then gets pulled right back into the jungle gym.
Fuel Up at the Concession Stand
Kids play hard. And hungry toddlers? Not the vibe. Wally Wombats has a concession stand stocked with kid-friendly food like:
- Pizza slices
- Lunchables
- Juice boxes and bottled water
- Snack packs (think Goldfish, crackers, granola bars)
Parents aren’t left out either. Grab a soda, coffee, or snack and relax at the seating area while your kid roams wild. I’ve seen parents bring their laptop and knock out a few emails while sipping a Diet Coke and keeping half an eye on the play structure.
Safety First, Sanity Second
Aside from the obvious fun factor, Wally Wombats does a great job of making safety a priority. The entire play zone is padded—seriously, from the floor to the walls to every structure inside.
There are cameras, attentive staff walking the floor, and that single entry point that reassures every parent. You can actually relax knowing your child is contained, entertained, and unlikely to faceplant into anything hard.
Get Ready For Laughs & Giggles at Wally’s!
Wally Wombats is our go-to spot when the weather’s too hot, we’ve done every park within a five-mile radius, and I just need a place where my toddler can be wild without wrecking my living room. The space is clean, colorful, and always filled with happy squeals and padded chaos.
Whether you’re planning a party, looking for a rainy-day activity, or just need to kill a few hours of high-energy chaos, Wally Wombats delivers. Your kid will thank you. Your wallet won’t cry.
And best of all, your shoes will be waiting in a bin by the door when it’s time to go home—with a sleepy, snacky kid in tow.
