BioBlast at Clark County Wetlands Park -Join the community for BioBlast, a free, family-friendly nature event at Clark County Wetlands Park that turns a spring Saturday into an outdoor science adventure.

Presented by Clark County Parks & Recreation
, Clark County Wetlands Park, and Commissioner Jim Gibson, this special event invites guests to explore the incredible plant and animal life that makes Southern Nevada’s desert wetland environment so unique.

Visitors can stop by interactive science stations throughout the event, where naturalists, scientists, and experts help guests identify local fish, bugs, plants, birds, and mammals.

Along the way, families can discover how native species adapt, survive, and thrive in one of the driest desert regions in North America, all while enjoying hands-on activities designed to make science fun and accessible for every age.

BioBlast is also part of a broader science celebration and highlights World Migratory Bird Day 2026, making it a great outing for bird lovers, curious kids, and anyone who enjoys learning more about the natural world.

Whether you are exploring with the family, encouraging a child’s interest in science, or simply looking for a meaningful outdoor event in Las Vegas, BioBlast offers a memorable way to connect with nature and gain a deeper appreciation for the rich biodiversity of the Wetlands Park.
