Location: 500 S Grand Central Pkwy, Las Vegas, NV 89115

The Las Vegas Indian Food Festival (also known as the Indian Food and Cultural Festival or Vaisakhi Mela) returns on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Clark County Amphitheater in downtown Las Vegas! Hosted by Baba Gurudwara Deep Singh, this vibrant celebration marks the first large-scale gathering since the COVID-era hiatus and commemorates Vaisakhi—the joyous Indian harvest festival.

Launched in 2004 as a small indoor event at the Masonic Lodge, the festival (then known as Vaisakhi Mela) has grown exponentially over the years. With a burgeoning and diverse Indian community, the event moved to the Cashman Center, eventually finding its new home at the spacious Clark County Government Center grounds. The last festival in 2019 welcomed over 6,000 attendees and showcased a colorful tapestry of Indian culture with:

  • Traditional dances and cultural performances from local Indian community groups
  • Multi-cuisine booths offering delicious flavors from across the Indian subcontinent
  • Henna artists, Indian clothing & jewelry vendors
  • Children’s activities and fun for the entire family
  • A festive evening conclusion with a live DJ spinning Punjabi, Hindi, and American tracks

From its humble origins to a vibrant citywide affair, the Las Vegas Indian Food Festival remains dedicated to sharing the richness of Indian culture with everyone. Mark your calendar and join the festivities on April 12, 2025, for a day of dancing, dining, and cultural immersion!
