Location: Downtown Summerlin

Celebrate the beauty, culture, and spirit of the Pacific Islands at the fourth annual Lei Day Parade at Downtown Summerlin on Thursday, May 1, 2026. Held in honor of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, this special community event invites locals and visitors to gather along Park Centre Drive for an evening filled with music, movement, tradition, and aloha.

The Lei Day Parade highlights the rich heritage of Hawai‘i and the Pacific Islands through an exciting showcase of local halau and Polynesian dance groups. Attendees can experience performances by Hot Lava Productions, Nani Ola Hawaiian Dance Company, Tevakanui Polynesian Dance Group, and Na Hula Hali’a Cultural Preservation, each bringing vibrant energy and cultural storytelling to the parade route.

Guests will enjoy a variety of traditional and contemporary island performances, from the powerful and deeply rooted Hula Kahiko, accompanied by chanting that shares the story behind the dance, to the graceful beauty of Hula Auana. The parade also features the fierce pride of the Māori Haka, the fast-paced rhythm of Tahitian dance, and other cultural expressions that honor the diverse traditions of the Pacific.

This family-friendly event is a wonderful way to celebrate heritage, support local cultural groups, and enjoy a festive evening in one of Las Vegas’ most popular outdoor destinations. Whether you have island roots or simply want to experience an evening full of meaningful performances and community connection, the Lei Day Parade promises a memorable celebration of culture and aloha spirit.
