Monster Mash on Main St. at The District

Monster Mash on Main St.
OCT 31
October 31, 2026 • 4:00 pm–7:00 pm The District at Green Valley Ranch

Monster Mash on Main St. brings a free family Halloween celebration to The District at Green Valley Ranch on October 31st, 2026. From 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Main Street will be filled with trick-or-treating, live music, Halloween characters, local vendors and a children’s costume contest.

The outdoor event gives Henderson families a place to celebrate Halloween before heading out for the rest of the evening. Children can dress in costume, collect candy from participating businesses and meet characters including Dracula and Frankenstein while families explore the shops and restaurants throughout The District.

Trick-or-Treat Along Main Street

Participating businesses along Main Street will hand out treats during the event while supplies last. Families can walk through The District at their own pace, stopping at participating storefronts and enjoying the Halloween atmosphere along the way.

Because candy and individual activities may be limited, arriving earlier in the event can give families more time to make their way through the participating locations.

Meet Halloween Characters

Costumed Halloween characters will be stationed throughout the event, including recognizable favorites such as Dracula and Frankenstein. The characters add another interactive element for children and create opportunities for Halloween photos throughout Main Street.

The event is designed to be festive and family-oriented rather than a haunted attraction, making it suitable for children who enjoy Halloween without intense scares.

Children’s Costume Contest

Families are encouraged to arrive in costume and take part in the children’s costume contest at The Splash Pad. Prizes will be awarded during the contest, adding a little friendly competition to the afternoon.

Costumes are encouraged but are not required to attend Monster Mash. Families can still participate in the trick-or-treating, music and other activities without entering the contest.

Live Music and Market in the Alley

Live music will play throughout the event while Market in the Alley brings additional local vendors to The District. Visitors can browse small businesses and artisan vendors between trick-or-treat stops and other Halloween activities.

Families who want to make the event part of a longer afternoon or evening can also stop for food at one of the restaurants throughout The District. The Oak Room is one nearby option for food and drinks within the Green Valley Ranch shopping area.
