The Phantom of the Opera returns to Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center from October 21st through November 1st, 2026. Cameron Mackintosh’s production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical brings the story of Christine Daaé and the mysterious Phantom back to the Las Vegas stage as part of the Toyota Broadway Las Vegas Series.
The production features Andrew Lloyd Webber’s score, Maria Björnson’s original design and musical staging and choreography based on the work of Gillian Lynne. Audiences can expect familiar songs including The Music of the Night, All I Ask of You, Masquerade and Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again.
The Story of The Phantom of the Opera
The musical follows Christine Daaé, a young soprano whose voice attracts the attention of a mysterious masked figure living beneath the Paris Opera House. Known as the Phantom, he becomes fascinated with Christine and secretly guides her musical development.
As Christine’s career advances, the Phantom’s obsession creates a conflict involving romance, jealousy and the people surrounding the opera company. The story combines musical theater, romance and suspense with elaborate stage design and theatrical effects.
A Full Broadway Production in Reynolds Hall
This touring production is presented inside Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center. The show runs approximately 145 minutes plus one 20-minute intermission, making the complete theater experience approximately two hours and 45 minutes.
The production includes theatrical effects such as haze, fog, pyrotechnics, prop firearms and blank firing. Guests who may be sensitive to these effects should review the theater’s posted information when arriving.

Age Guidance for Families
Children age 5 and older may attend with their own ticket. The Smith Center recommends the production for ages 8 and older based on the show’s content, although parents and guardians should decide what is appropriate for their children.
All attendees need their own ticket regardless of age. Guests age 16 and older may attend without an accompanying adult with permission from a parent or guardian.
What to Know Before the Show
The Smith Center is a cashless venue. The box office and on-site food and beverage locations accept major credit cards and digital payment methods rather than cash.
Parking is available in the area surrounding the theater, and the box office opens two hours before performances. Guests should arrive with enough time for parking, security screening and finding their seats before curtain time.

Tickets currently range from $42.50 to $264.50 including fees, depending on the performance and seat location. Multiple matinee and evening performances are available throughout the engagement, and ticket availability varies by showtime.
