Pokémon Regional Championships Las Vegas brings competitive Pokémon play to the Las Vegas Convention Center from December 4th through December 6th, 2026. Part of the 2027 Pokémon Championship Series season, the three-day event brings together players competing in the Pokémon Trading Card Game, Pokémon video games, and Pokémon GO.
The competition takes place inside North Hall N3 and N4 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Players compete for Championship Points and prizes while working toward qualification opportunities within the larger Play! Pokémon Championship Series.
Three Major Pokémon Competitions
The Las Vegas Regional includes competition in Pokémon TCG, Pokémon Video Game Championships and Pokémon GO. Each game follows its own tournament structure and current Championship Series rules.
Regional Championships are a major level of organized Play! Pokémon competition, drawing experienced players along with competitors working their way through the Championship Series. Players are divided into eligible age divisions where applicable.
Compete for Championship Points
Regional Championships award Championship Points based on tournament performance. These points contribute toward a player’s standing during the competitive season and can play a role in qualifying for higher-level Pokémon Championship Series events.
Prizing varies by competition and placement. Players planning to compete should review the official tournament information for their game before registering, including current rules, deck or team requirements and equipment they need to bring.
Pokémon TCG, Video Games and Pokémon GO
Pokémon Trading Card Game competitors must arrive with a tournament-legal deck that meets the current format and deck-list requirements. Video Game Championship players compete using the current approved Pokémon video game ruleset, while Pokémon GO players compete using eligible teams from their Pokémon GO accounts.
The event can also include additional side tournaments and casual play opportunities beyond the main Regional Championships. The complete side-event schedule is typically released separately as the weekend approaches.
Spectators Can Attend
You do not have to compete to attend the Pokémon Regional Championships. Spectator badges are available for $20, giving Pokémon fans, friends and family members access to the event without entering the main tournament.
Spectator passes are listed as non-refundable and non-transferable. Orders require an RK9 profile with the attendee’s first name, last name and country before a badge can be purchased.
Watch the Competition Online
The Las Vegas Regional is also scheduled as a broadcast event within the Pokémon Championship Series. This gives fans who cannot attend in person another way to follow featured matches and tournament results during the weekend.
Broadcast schedules and featured games are generally released closer to the competition, so viewers should check the Pokémon Championship Series schedule as the event approaches.
Registration and Weekend Schedule
Competitors register through RK9 and must review and accept the Pokémon Championship Series Competitor Agreement before participating. Registration availability can vary by game and division, and competitive events may reach capacity.
The official event dates and venue are confirmed, but daily opening times, individual tournament start times and final closing times have not yet been published. Players and spectators should review the official schedule before planning their arrival.
Tickets and Registration
Spectator badges are currently listed at $20. Competitors must register separately through RK9 for their specific tournament and accept the Championship Series Competitor Agreement. Registration availability, competitor pricing and the detailed daily schedule should be confirmed before attending.
