Toys for Tots: Fill The Truck brings an evening of holiday giving to Main Street at The District at Green Valley Ranch on December 10th, 2026. From 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, families can donate new, unwrapped toys while enjoying live music, photos with Santa and appearances from the UNLV Rebel Hockey Team and members of the Marine Corps.
The community toy drive supports Toys for Tots, which collects new toys for children in need during the holiday season. Visitors are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy and help fill the collection truck during the two-hour event.
Bring a New, Unwrapped Toy
The main purpose of the event is simple: bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate. Toys collected during the evening will support the Toys for Tots holiday campaign and help provide gifts for children in the community.
Visitors can stop by anytime during the 5:00 PM–7:00 PM event window to make their donation and participate in the evening’s holiday activities.
Meet the UNLV Rebel Hockey Team
Members of the UNLV Rebel Hockey Team will join the event along with members of the Marine Corps. Guests who donate a new, unwrapped toy will receive $5 off a UNLV Rebel Hockey ticket as a thank-you for supporting the campaign.
The discount provides an additional incentive to participate while connecting the local hockey community with the holiday toy drive.
Live Music and Photos With Santa
The event also includes live music and an opportunity to take a photo with Santa. These activities make the toy drive an easy family stop during an evening at The District rather than simply a donation drop-off.
Families can enjoy the holiday atmosphere along Main Street before continuing to dinner, shopping or other seasonal activities around Green Valley Ranch.
Spend the Day at The District
The toy drive takes place on a Thursday, the same day The District hosts its recurring farmers market earlier in the day. Visitors who are already in the area can browse the District Farmers Market from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM before returning for the evening holiday event.
Main Street is surrounded by restaurants, cafés and shops, giving families several options for dinner or holiday shopping before or after making their donation.
A Community Holiday Toy Drive
Fill The Truck is open to the community and focuses on giving rather than admission or paid entertainment. Bringing a new, unwrapped toy is the primary way to participate and directly support the Toys for Tots campaign.
