Calling trailblazers and future lifesavers! The Henderson Fire Department is hosting its FREE Women in the Fire Service Workshop — a powerful, hands-on opportunity for women ages 18 and older who are interested in exploring a career in firefighting or emergency medical services.

Whether you’ve dreamed of becoming a firefighter since childhood or you’re just beginning to consider a career in public safety, this immersive one-day workshop gives you a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to serve on the front lines.

Participants will gain insight into both the physical and mental demands of the fire service through a combination of:

• Classroom instruction
• Physical agility exercises
• Hands-on experience with firefighting equipment
• Real-world demonstrations led by fire service professionals

This no-cost workshop is designed to educate, empower, and inspire the next generation of women in fire and EMS careers.

Registration is required and limited to the first 50 women who sign up. Registration will close once full or by March 31, whichever comes first.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to answer the call, this is your chance to step into the boots for a day.
