It’s time to run for your life—literally! The undead rise again for the second annual Zombie Run 5K and 1-Mile Walk at Wildhorse Golf Club on Saturday, October 11, 2025. Whether you’re fleeing zombies or joining the horde, this family-friendly Halloween-themed event promises frights, fitness, and fun for everyone. Come dressed as your favorite ghoul, goblin, or ghost and get ready for an unforgettable evening of spooky vibes and community spirit.
A Frighteningly Fun Fitness Event
This chip-timed run is open to all ages and fitness levels. Choose between the full 5K course or a lighter 1-mile walk, both winding through the Wildhorse Golf Club’s eerie pathways as dusk falls over Henderson. The first 300 registered participants will receive a dry-fit t-shirt and souvenir medal, so don’t wait to claim your spot!

5K Run:
- $35 – through September 10
- $45 – September 11 to October 10
- $50 – Day of (October 11 until 3:30 PM)
1-Mile Walk:
- $25 – through September 10
- $35 – September 11 to October 10
- $40 – Day of (October 11 until 3:30 PM)
Costumes Encouraged
This event is as much about the spectacle as the sprint. Participants are encouraged to dress in Halloween costumes or come as the undead. From spooky skeletons to creepy clowns, there’s no such thing as being overdressed at the Zombie Run!
Packet Pickup
To keep race day running smoothly, participants are encouraged to pick up their race packets in advance at Wildhorse Golf Club:
- Thursday, October 9 – 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Friday, October 10 – 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Saturday, October 11 (Race Day) – 3:30 PM to 5:15 PM
