There is something dangerously easy about walking into Paris Baguette with the intention of grabbing one pastry and leaving with a tray full of them.

On our latest visit to the Decatur location, that was pretty much the experience. The display cases were filled with croissants, donuts, breads, cakes, and colorful pastries, while the smell of fresh-baked goods made narrowing down the choices even harder.

Paris Baguette blends the feel of a modern bakery café with the fun of choosing your own pastries as you move through the shop. Add coffee, cakes, savory options, and plenty of seating, and it works just as easily for a quick morning stop as it does for slowing down over dessert.

A Bright Bakery Café Made for Browsing

The first thing that stood out again during this visit was how open and polished the café feels. Bright walls, blue accents, display cases filled with baked goods, and a spacious dining area give the Decatur location a clean, modern atmosphere.

It has some of the relaxed European café energy we also enjoy at Patisserie Manon, although Paris Baguette has its own busier, more self-guided bakery experience.

The dining area offers plenty of room to sit down with pastries, coffee, and other bakery treats.

There is plenty of seating around the main bakery area, which makes it easy to settle in after making your selections instead of treating the café strictly as a grab-and-go stop.

But the real temptation is waiting around the pastry displays.

A Self-Serve Pastry Experience

One of the most enjoyable parts of Paris Baguette is being able to browse the bakery selection at your own pace. Grab a tray and tongs, move through the displays, and build your own lineup instead of committing to a single dessert from behind a counter.

That format will feel familiar if you have visited 85°C Bakery Cafe, another Las Vegas bakery café where exploring the pastry cases becomes part of the experience.

The selection changes enough that part of the fun is simply seeing what looks best that day. Paris Baguette’s current menu spans classic croissants, filled pastries, donuts, cakes, breads, sandwiches, breakfast items, and seasonal sweets, so there is plenty to explore beyond the items from our original visit.

The Coffee Croissant Donut

The Coffee Croissant Donut remains one of the easiest items to recommend if you like pastries that fall somewhere between breakfast and dessert.

Paris Baguette describes it as a flaky croissant donut filled with coffee custard cream and finished with coffee icing. It has the layered texture of a croissant but the sweeter personality of a donut, making it an easy match for a cup of coffee.

If specialty donuts are your weakness, our visit to Saint Honoré offers another very different take on the Las Vegas pastry scene.

Pairing pastries with coffee is where the café experience really comes together. Paris Baguette serves hot and iced coffee drinks along with other café beverages, so it is easy to turn a pastry run into an actual sit-down break.

Pecan Tart

The pecan tart we tried delivered exactly what you want from this style of dessert: plenty of nutty flavor, a crisp pastry shell, and a rich sweetness that makes a small tart feel surprisingly satisfying.

It was one of the richer choices on our tray, so sharing it alongside a lighter pastry worked well.

Strawberry Pastries Bring a Lighter Bite

Strawberry-filled pastries were another highlight of the visit. The fruit adds brightness to the buttery pastry and creamier fillings, giving you something that feels lighter than the chocolate- or caramel-heavy options surrounding it.

Paris Baguette’s current national menu includes several rotating fruit-forward pastries, so the exact selection can vary when you visit.

It Is More Than a Dessert Stop

It would be easy to look at all the cakes and pastries and assume Paris Baguette is strictly for sweets, but the menu goes considerably further.

Breakfast sandwiches, salads, sandwiches, wraps, savory pastries, breads, and grab-and-go options give the café enough variety for breakfast or a light lunch.

That flexibility is one of the reasons the location works well for mixed groups. One person can grab coffee and a croissant, another can choose something savory, and someone else can head straight toward the cake display.

If you enjoy cafés where pastries and actual meals overlap, Cookio Cafe is another local option worth exploring, with Costa Rican-inspired baked goods, breakfast favorites, sandwiches, and desserts.

Coffee, Iced Drinks, and a Reason to Stay

A bakery with this many pastries needs a solid drink menu, and Paris Baguette offers both hot and cold café drinks to go with them.

The Decatur location specifically promotes Lavazza coffee, along with warm pastries and iced lattes. For us, coffee is almost mandatory here because it balances the sweetness of the pastries and gives you an excuse to sit down instead of immediately heading back out the door.

On a Las Vegas summer day, an iced coffee or latte alongside something flaky from the pastry case is an especially easy combination.

For a more coffee-focused stop with a completely different personality, check out The Daily Bread Bakery Cafe, where fresh bread, croissants, coffee, and a relaxed patio create a slower neighborhood experience.

Cakes and Treats to Take Home

The cake cases are another reason Paris Baguette Café works for more than an everyday coffee run.

The current menu includes whole cakes, individual cake slices, tarts, specialty cakes, packaged treats, and seasonal desserts. That makes it easy to stop in for one slice or pick up something larger for a birthday, office gathering, or family celebration.

Catering is also offered at the Decatur café, adding another option for groups that want pastries, sandwiches, breakfast items, or desserts without building an order one piece at a time.

A Bakery Stop That Is Easy to Repeat

Coming back to Paris Baguette reminded us why bakery cafés like this are so easy to revisit. You do not really need a special occasion or a complicated plan.

You can stop in early for coffee and a croissant, build a tray of pastries to share, grab something savory for lunch, or pick up a cake on the way to a celebration.

The best part is still the simple act of walking past the pastry cases and deciding what deserves a spot on the tray. There is enough variety that every visit can look a little different, which is probably why leaving with only one pastry continues to be the hardest part.
