Broadway Pizzeria: Vegas’ Gateway To NYCravings

Broadway Pizzeria

Some pizzerias are built for crowds. Broadway Pizzeria feels like it was built for a New York neighborhood, but built in Vegas. Since 1996, it’s been the same kind of stop—easy, honest, and full of flavor. It’s a real slice shop with real history.

A Longstanding Slice Since 1996

Broadway Pizzeria owners Anthony and Mario didn’t just open a pizza place—they brought a piece of home with them. Raised in New York and seasoned in the art of pizza-making, the two owners built Broadway Pizzeria on decades of knowledge and family recipes.

Since opening their doors in 1996, they’ve never strayed from what makes a good pizzeria great: quality food, friendly service, and consistency.

They didn’t cut corners then, and they don’t now. You can taste that history in every bite. Over the years, they’ve become more than just business owners—they’ve become part of the local fabric. That commitment shines even brighter once you walk through the doors.

A Wall Full of Memorabilia, Memories & More

As soon as you enter, you’re met with the sights of New York. There’s a huge mural stretching across the wall showing iconic NYC moments.

You’ll see the Brooklyn Bridge stretching over the Hudson, the Twin Towers standing tall, a yellow cab driving by Central Park, and Yankee Stadium before it was torn down.

But it doesn’t stop there. Old photographs, sports memorabilia, and souvenirs from friends and regulars fill the space. There’s even a Yankees jersey donated by Tom Volari, a friend of Broadway Pizzeria.

The vibe is casual and welcoming, like the best slice shops tucked away in Manhattan. It sets the tone for a meal that feels familiar even on your first visit.

An Authentic NY Pizzeria Serving by the Slice

There’s a reason people talk about the pizza first. It’s exactly what a New York slice should be. Thin but firm. Foldable, no flop, and never soggy. Every slice has just the right amount of crisp on the bottom and plenty of flavor on top. The pepperoni slice hits all the right notes—salty, cheesy, and perfectly cooked.

The white pizzas, like the signature Anthony’s Pizza with ricotta and garlic or the Upstate with oregano and olive oil, offer something different but equally satisfying. Even the Sicilian slice holds its own with a thick, square crust and gooey cheese that doesn’t skimp.

From the first bite to the crust, you’ll notice how balanced it all is. That balance carries into the rest of their menu, which offers much more than just pizza.

A Full Italian Kitchen Selling Every Craving

Broadway Pizzeria may lead with pizza, but the rest of the menu delivers just as much heart. The meatball parmigiana is tender and flavorful, with sauce that’s bold without overpowering the dish. Their hot heroes come stacked with sausage, eggplant, or chicken, each served with bread that soaks in every bit of sauce.

If you’re in the mood for pasta, there are ziti and spaghetti dinners that come with garlic knots and a crisp side salad. The red and white clam sauces are standouts, but so are the garlic and oil and meat sauce options.

Stromboli rolls offer an easy-to-grab option with fillings like Philly steak, sausage and peppers, or broccoli and cheese. It’s comfort food made with care. And the people who make it care about more than just what’s on the plate.

A Place That Gives Back to Those Who Serve

One section of the shop is covered in patches from police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and other first responders. These patches come from cities across the country, brought in by those who’ve eaten here or heard of the shop’s reputation.

At the center is a hand-drawn tribute to 9/11—a powerful image of firefighters encircling the World Trade Center. Broadway Pizzeria is just minutes from UMC Hospital, and hospital staff often stop by for lunch or dinner.

Anthony and Mario treat them like family, just like they do with everyone who walks through the door. That sense of respect and community is a core part of what makes this place feel different. And it’s one more reason people keep coming back.

Grab a Seat and Fold a Slice

You don’t need to rush through a meal here. Whether you’re eating alone, grabbing takeout, or meeting up with friends, Broadway Pizzeria offers the kind of space where time slows down. The pizza is reliable. The staff is friendly. The vibe is real.

If you’ve been looking for a place that reminds you why simple food matters, this is it. Come in, take a look at the mural, and try the slice that started it all.
