Las Vegas has plenty of places to watch a game or grab a beer, but the local scene extends far beyond casino sportsbooks and the Strip. Across Summerlin, Southwest Las Vegas, Henderson, Downtown and the neighborhoods in between, sports bars and breweries have become regular gathering places for locals.
Some are built around wall-to-wall screens and game-day energy. Others put the emphasis on beer brewed on-site, better-than-expected food, patios or the kind of neighborhood atmosphere that works just as well on a Tuesday afternoon as it does during a major game.
We’ve been exploring these places across the valley, and this guide brings that firsthand coverage together. Rather than ranking them, we’ve organized the guide around what kind of experience you’re looking for, with sports-focused bars first, breweries and beer destinations next, and additional options for different parts of town.

Sports Bars & Breweries We’ve Visited in Las Vegas
Al’s Garage Sports Tavern
Al’s Garage is one of the more sports-focused choices on the west side. The automotive theme gives the room personality, but the real reason it belongs in this guide is the viewing setup. Large projection screens and plenty of additional TVs keep sports at the center of the room rather than treating them as background entertainment.
It makes particular sense when the game itself is the priority. Al’s official site specifically promotes Golden Knights and Raiders viewing, along with six 10-foot 4K projection screens, making it distinctly different from a neighborhood restaurant that happens to have TVs.
Al's Garage
11760 West Charleston Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV
Al’s Garage is a 24/7 Summerlin sports bar with six 10-foot 4K projection screens, gaming, American bar food, and a nightly late-night happy hour.
The George Sportsmen’s Lounge
The George takes the sports-bar idea in a more polished direction. Located in Southwest Las Vegas, it combines a sports-driven setting with a menu and atmosphere that can carry an evening even when there isn’t a major game on.
That makes it useful for groups with mixed priorities: someone can care about the matchup while someone else cares more about dinner and drinks. It is a good example of how the newer generation of Las Vegas sports lounges has moved beyond the traditional wings-and-beer formula.
The George Sportsmen's Lounge
6903 South Durango Drive, Las Vegas, NV
The George Sportsmen’s Lounge at Durango Casino & Resort serves elevated American fare, craft cocktails, beer, and shareable plates with immersive sports viewing and entertainment.
The Spot LV
The Spot LV has become one of the clearer examples of a neighborhood sports bar that also works for families. During our visit, we found TVs throughout both sides of the space, with a 21+ bar area on one side and family-friendly dining on the other.
That separation gives The Spot an advantage for groups that want game-day atmosphere without necessarily turning the entire outing into a bar visit. Burgers, BBQ, cocktails and shareable food broaden the appeal, while sports remain a major part of the experience.
The Spot LV
8410 West Desert Inn Road, Las Vegas, NV
The Spot LV is a Las Vegas sports bar and family-friendly restaurant serving smash burgers, BBQ, shareables and cocktails, with TVs, trivia, reservations and weekend BBQ.
Ojos Locos Sports Cantina
Ojos Locos brings a noticeably different energy to the sports-bar category. The North Las Vegas cantina combines sports viewing with Mexican-influenced bar food, drinks and a louder atmosphere than many traditional neighborhood taverns.
This is less about settling into a quiet corner with one television and more about a high-energy game-day environment. For locals on the north side of the valley, it also gives this guide geographic coverage beyond the west side and Henderson.
Ojos Locos Sports Cantina y Casino
3227 Civic Center Drive, North Las Vegas, NV
Ojos Locos Sports Cantina is a lively Las Vegas sports bar serving Mexican-inspired food, tequila cocktails, cold beer, and wall-to-wall game-day entertainment.
Sticks Tavern
Sticks Tavern sits right in Henderson’s Water Street District, close to the area’s hockey activity. The sports connection feels natural here, but the kitchen is an important part of the experience rather than an afterthought.
During our visit, what stood out was how easily Sticks can work as both a Henderson sports bar and a casual neighborhood restaurant. It is especially worth considering when you want to combine a game with time elsewhere along Water Street.
Sticks Tavern
203 South Water Street, Henderson, NV
Sticks Tavern is a non-smoking Henderson sports bar serving breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, pizza, tacos, and elevated pub food alongside drinks, gaming, and entertainment.
Bogey’s Bar & Grill West
Bogey’s represents the classic Las Vegas neighborhood-bar side of this guide. It is casual, familiar and built more around repeat local visits than destination dining.
For sports fans, that can be exactly the point. Not every game requires a giant event atmosphere. Sometimes you want a neighborhood bar, TVs, food and a place to settle in, particularly if you live around the northwest side of the valley.
Bogeys Bar & Grill West
3370 Novat Street, Las Vegas, NV
Bogey’s Bar & Grill West is a 24-hour neighborhood bar serving American comfort food, drinks, and happy-hour specials alongside sports, pool, and gaming.
90 NINETY Bar + Grill
Inside Suncoast, 90 NINETY gives west-side locals another option when the outing extends beyond simply watching a game. The restaurant combines bar-and-grill food, drinks and live entertainment within a casino setting that is much more neighborhood-oriented than a Strip resort.
Choose it when you want dinner, drinks and entertainment under one roof, especially if your plans might continue after the game rather than ending with the final whistle.
90 NINETY Bar + Grill
9090 Alta Drive, Las Vegas, NV
90 NINETY Bar + Grill is a casual American restaurant inside Suncoast serving burgers, steaks, seafood, shareable plates, cocktails, beer, and wine.
595 Craft and Kitchen
595 Craft and Kitchen approaches the category from the beer-and-food side. It feels more intimate and low-key than the large sports lounges, with craft beer playing a bigger role in why you would choose it.
This is the kind of place that makes sense when the beer selection and food matter as much as whatever is on TV. It also gives the guide a useful alternative to the louder, screen-heavy sports-bar experience.
595 Craft And Kitchen
4950 South Rainbow Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV
595 Craft and Kitchen is a neighborhood gastropub serving Asian-inspired comfort food, burgers, tacos, rice bowls, noodles, craft cocktails, wine, and rotating craft beer.
Las Vegas Brewing Company
Las Vegas Brewing Company brings locally brewed beer together with a full food menu and an easygoing brewpub atmosphere. It is a stronger fit when craft beer is part of the reason for going out rather than simply something ordered while watching a game.
The brewery has expanded beyond its original northwest location with a Downtown location as well, giving locals more than one way to work it into an afternoon or evening. Beer, food and a casual setting are the main draw here.
Las Vegas Brewing Company
3101 North Tenaya Way, Las Vegas, NV
Las Vegas Brewing Company is a Las Vegas brewpub serving house-brewed craft beer, smash burgers, fish and chips, sandwiches, shareables, cocktails, wine, and weekend brunch.
Evolve Brewing Project
Evolve Brewing Project at The Bend adds a newer Southwest option to the local brewery scene. Its location makes it particularly useful for residents around the 215 corridor who previously had to head toward Downtown or other parts of the valley for more brewery choices.
Evolve works well when you want the brewery experience to be the destination. It adds locally brewed beer and a modern neighborhood setting to a part of town where the dining and entertainment mix continues to grow.
Evolve Brewing by Aces and Ales
8680 West Sunset Road, Las Vegas, NV
Evolve Brewing Project is a Las Vegas craft brewery and gastropub serving house-brewed beer, cocktails, scratch-made American food, weekend brunch, and happy-hour specials.
Chicago Brewing Company
Chicago Brewing Company has been part of the west-side beer landscape for years, and its Fort Apache location remains one of the more unusual combinations in this guide: brewery, restaurant, taproom and late-night neighborhood destination.

Beer is brewed on-site, and the dedicated non-smoking taproom gives craft-beer drinkers a different experience from the main bar. Its 24-hour operation also puts it in a category of its own when the timing of a game or late-night meetup does not fit normal brewery hours.
Chicago Brewing Company
2201 South Fort Apache Road, Las Vegas, NV
Brick-walled, industrial-style brewpub offering American fare including Chicago-style pizza.
Nevada Brew Works
Nevada Brew Works is closely tied to the growth of the Arts District as a craft-beer destination. The brewery combines house beer with pizza, burgers and other substantial food, making it easy to stay for more than a quick tasting.
It has also expanded to Boca Park, bringing the brand to the west side. That creates two very different ways to experience it: Arts District brewery hopping or a more neighborhood-oriented Boca Park stop.
Nevada Brew Works
1327 South Main Street, Las Vegas, NV
Nevada Brew Works is a Las Vegas Arts District brewpub serving house-brewed craft beer, pizza, burgers, pub fare, cocktails, and more.
Where to Go Based on What You’re Looking For
For a Big Game
If watching the game is the entire reason you are going out, start with Al’s Garage, The George, or The Spot LV. These places make sports a central part of the experience, not something playing quietly behind the bar.

Sticks Tavern is another strong option in Henderson, particularly for hockey fans or anyone already planning to spend time around Water Street.
For Craft Beer
When the beer matters more than the number of televisions, the guide shifts toward Las Vegas Brewing Company, Evolve Brewing Project, Chicago Brewing Company and Nevada Brew Works.
Each offers a different version of the brewery experience, from established brewpubs to newer neighborhood projects. Downtown also opens up the possibility of visiting several breweries in the same outing.
For Food and the Game
The George and The Spot LV are useful when your group is not willing to compromise dinner just to find a television. Sticks Tavern also belongs in this conversation, with a menu that goes further than basic game-day snacks.
For something more casual, Chicago Brewing Company and Las Vegas Brewing Company both make it easy to pair beer with pizza, burgers and brewpub-style food.
For a Neighborhood Bar
Bogey’s is closer to the traditional neighborhood-bar experience, while Al’s Garage combines that familiarity with a much more sports-driven viewing setup.
These are good choices when you would rather stay close to home than turn watching a game into a cross-town expedition.
For Henderson
Start with Sticks Tavern on Water Street. Its location makes it especially easy to build a larger Henderson outing around the game.
Henderson also has its own craft-beer options, making it worth thinking of the area separately instead of automatically driving toward Downtown Las Vegas whenever you want locally brewed beer.
Las Vegas Breweries and Beer Areas to Know
Arts District and Brewery Row
The Arts District is the easiest part of Las Vegas to turn a brewery visit into a larger beer-focused outing. The City of Las Vegas officially recognizes a Brewery Row cluster in and around the area.
Nevada Brew Works and Las Vegas Brewing Company are among the businesses we covered, while the broader district includes additional breweries and craft-beer stops. Instead of driving between isolated locations, brewery hopping makes the most sense here.
West Las Vegas and Summerlin
The west side offers a different experience. Rather than one concentrated brewery district, choices are spread through residential and commercial neighborhoods.
Chicago Brewing Company, Las Vegas Brewing Company, Nevada Brew Works at Boca Park and Al’s Garage give west-side residents several very different choices without heading Downtown.
Southwest Las Vegas
The Southwest continues to develop its own food-and-drink identity. Evolve Brewing Project gives the area a dedicated brewery option, while The George offers the more sports-focused experience.
That makes the Southwest particularly useful for groups deciding between craft beer and a full game-day environment.
Henderson and Water Street
Water Street works especially well when the bar or brewery is only one part of the outing. Sticks Tavern provides the sports-bar component, while the surrounding district gives you restaurants, entertainment, and other places to continue the evening.

Make a Game Day of It
One advantage of choosing a neighborhood sports bar is that the game does not have to be the entire plan.
In Summerlin, a stop at Al’s Garage can be combined with dining, shopping or activities elsewhere on the west side. Explore more ideas through our Summerlin guide.
Downtown is better suited to brewery hopping. The Arts District puts several beer destinations relatively close together, and you can explore more of the surrounding area through our Downtown Las Vegas coverage.
In Henderson, Sticks Tavern makes Water Street an easy starting point rather than simply a place to watch one game and drive home. See more places around the city in our Henderson guide.
You can also browse bars, restaurants and activities geographically using the Everyday.Vegas interactive map.
Planning a Sports Bar or Brewery Visit
Major games change the experience. NFL Sundays, Golden Knights games, March basketball and major playoff games can make sports bars substantially busier than an ordinary evening. If a particular matchup matters, arriving early is usually the safer approach.

Breweries are different. They can be better choices when conversation and trying different beers are higher priorities than having the largest possible screen in front of you.
Also consider the group. A dedicated sports bar makes sense when everyone wants to watch. A brewery or food-driven tavern can work better when only part of the group cares about the game.
Finally, Las Vegas is spread out. Choosing something near home can be more enjoyable than crossing the valley for a marginally different experience. That is why this guide includes options across the west side, Southwest, Downtown, North Las Vegas and Henderson instead of treating the local bar scene as one neighborhood.
