Wineaux Summerlin: A Perfect Evening Out

Wineaux has officially opened its doors inside Rampart Casino at the JW Marriott Resort. After visiting on a Saturday night, it’s easy to see why this spot is quickly becoming a local favorite.

Known for its refined yet welcoming atmosphere, Wineaux blends the feel of a wine market, stylish bar, and relaxed lounge into one seamless experience. It’s polished without feeling formal, making it approachable whether you’re a wine enthusiast or just looking for a great place to unwind.

We stopped by Wineaux for a date night before hitting the casino, and it turned out to be the perfect way to start the evening.

While Wineaux originally opened at The Uncommons, its new location at Rampart Casino feels like a natural fit—elevated, comfortable, and buzzing with energy.

First Impressions & Atmosphere

From the moment we walked in, the vibe stood out. The space feels modern and intimate, with a warm energy that invites you to stay awhile. Wineaux isn’t loud or chaotic, even on a busy Saturday night. Instead, it feels social in the best way—full of conversation, laughter, and people clearly enjoying themselves.

There’s an easy flow to the room that works whether you’re stopping in for a single glass or planning to settle in for the evening. It feels equally suited for date nights, girls’ nights, or even a solo visit to enjoy a glass of wine and people-watch.

Starting with Something Fresh

We began our night with the Bruschetta, and it set the tone perfectly. Made with farmer’s market tomatoes, caprichio de cabra, mint, dill, and basil, it was light, fresh, and full of flavor. Every bite tasted bright and balanced, and it paired effortlessly with our drinks. It’s a simple dish done really well, which often says a lot about a menu.

The Perfect Shareable Plate

Next, we shared the Chef’s Tasting, which quickly became the highlight of the night. The board included an exclusive selection of three premium meats, three cheeses, market fruits and nuts, and toasted focaccia. It was beautifully presented and ideal for sharing, especially on a date night.

Each element felt thoughtfully chosen, and the variety kept things interesting from start to finish. It’s the kind of plate that encourages you to slow down, talk, and enjoy the experience rather than rush through a meal.

Wine, Cocktails & Something Unexpected

For drinks, we enjoyed a Pinot Noir that was smooth, approachable, and easy to sip throughout the evening. We also ordered a cocktail that completely surprised us—in a martini glass, with a creamy, possibly coffee-forward flavor profile. While the name escaped us, the cocktail itself didn’t. It was rich without being heavy, adding a fun twist to the evening.

One of the standout aspects of Wineaux is that it isn’t just about wine. The cocktail menu is just as thoughtfully done, making it a great option even if not everyone in your group is a wine drinker.

A Social Spot Worth Lingering In

What really stood out to me about Wineaux was how comfortable and social it felt. This isn’t a place where you feel rushed or pushed out after one round. It’s designed for connection—shared plates, unhurried conversations, and a relaxed pace that fits perfectly with a night out.

Being located inside Rampart Casino adds to the appeal. Wineaux feels like a destination in its own right, but also the perfect starting or ending point for an evening.

We left feeling relaxed, happy, and ready to enjoy the rest of our night.
