Putter’s: Home To Bets, Brews & Billiards

Putter's Las Vegas

Vegas after dark doesn’t always mean velvet booths and bottle service. Sometimes it means glass beer bottles, bar-top video poker, and a hot sandwich that tastes way better than it should.

Putter’s delivers all that with a wink and a full pour. It’s got that late-night energy you don’t need to dress up for.

Where Slots, Cards, and Pool Cues All Belong

It’s hard to explain how Putter’s manages to cram in so much without ever feeling chaotic.

There are a few Putter’s locations scattered around Las Vegas, but I keep circling back to the one on Eastern and Sunset. It’s got this neighborhood bar energy that somehow blends with the feeling of a casino lounge.

The bar backs onto rows of casino-style gaming machines, and I couldn’t help but toss a few bills into one while waiting for a drink.

You’ll find poker tables that seem to run on their own heartbeat, blackjack players lost in concentration, and dartboards echoing with the thud of steel tips hitting cork.

There’s even a pool table and Golden Tee golf arcade machine to test your inner tiger woods!

The regulars are friendly but not overbearing. The staff know their way around a busy shift, and they somehow remember faces even if it’s been weeks.

It’s the kind of place that starts out as “just a drink” and turns into an unplanned night of games, good food, and laughter you didn’t expect!

Sandwiches That Satisfy Like a Backyard BBQ

I’ll be honest—I didn’t expect much from the food. But then the BLT showed up. Perfectly crisp bacon stacked between cool tomato slices and crunchy lettuce, all layered on toasted white bread with just the right amount of mayo.

It came with a scoop of potato salad that was creamy and bright with a little zing from the pickles that my girlfriend loved.

I got the hot Italian sub and couldn’t stop talking about it—pepperoni, salami, and ham melting into warm mozzarella, all hugged by a toasted sub roll slicked with just enough Italian dressing.

The aroma alone made a few people turn their heads. As we ate, the buzz of happy hour picked up steam.

Ice-Cold Pints and Cocktails Shaken to Your Mood

The bar is deep and wide, lined with bottles like a well-organized army of good decisions.

The beer taps cover everything from classics to unexpected local finds, and I started my evening off with a Cali Squeeze Blood Orange beer.

It’s citrusy and smooth, with a vibrant orange aroma that practically makes your mouth water before the first sip. It tastes like a summer sunset—fruity but not sweet, crisp but not bitter.

Around me, other regulars were sipping mixed drinks, highballs, and colorful cocktails that looked too good not to ask about.

The full bar surrounded with TVs to watch the game.

One guy got a whiskey sour with the kind of foam top that made me stare, and the woman next to me had what looked like a mojito garnished like it belonged in a photo shoot.

The bartenders didn’t just know what they were doing—they seemed to enjoy doing it. And just as I was finishing my drink, I heard the click of darts and a name being called over the mic.

Tournaments That Feel More Like a Local Holiday

Putter’s offers weekly darts and poker tournaments that brings this neighborhood bar to life!

Best of all, you can pre-register or sign up the same day for all the tournament events.

People gathered in clusters near the boards, laughing and ribbing each other, drinks in hand. I stayed to watch, drawn in by the rhythm of throws and friendly trash talk. Even if you’re not playing, it’s fun to be near it, like you’re part of the night even without competing.

Between the games, the people, and the low-key sense of occasion, it never feels like just another night out.

Come for the Game, Stay for the Company

Putter’s isn’t trying to be something it’s not. It doesn’t need to reinvent the wheel or offer flashy gimmicks.

What it does is offer a place where the food is better than expected, the drinks are exactly what you wanted, and the people are easy to talk to.

Whether you’re there to play blackjack, throw darts, catch a game on TV, or just sit at the bar and enjoy a beer—you’ll find yourself at ease.

And if you’re like me, you’ll think you’re only staying for one drink… until you realize the night has quietly turned into something worth remembering!
