Bluey’s Big Play brings Bluey, Bingo, Bandit and Chili to Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center on November 7th and 8th, 2026. The live stage production turns the Emmy Award-winning children’s series into a theatrical experience featuring large-scale puppets, an original story by Bluey creator Joe Brumm and new music by composer Joff Bush.
The production follows Bluey and Bingo as they try to get Dad off the bean bag and back into the action. Familiar family dynamics from the television series are recreated on stage through puppetry, music and physical comedy designed for younger audiences and their families.

Bluey’s Big Play is a theatrical adaptation rather than a screening of the television show. The Heelers are brought to life through detailed puppets operated on stage, giving children a chance to see the characters in a completely different format.
BBC Studios and Andrew Kay present the production in association with Windmill Theatre Co., and it features a story created specifically for the live show. The performance keeps the playful tone of the series while building a complete stage production around Bluey and Bingo’s latest plan.
A Shorter Theater Experience for Families
The show runs approximately 50 minutes with no intermission, making it a manageable theater experience for younger children. The Smith Center lists the production as appropriate for all ages.
Children age 2 and older need their own ticket. For this performance only, children age 1 and younger may sit on a parent or guardian’s lap without purchasing a separate ticket.
Five Performances Across Two Days
Families have several showtimes to choose from across the weekend. Saturday includes three performances, while Sunday includes two matinees.

A VIP Experience is available for families who want additional perks beyond the standard performance. VIP admission includes premium seating, an exclusive Bluey’s Big Play lanyard, and an exclusive Bluey souvenir gift for children.
The package also includes a post-show Meet & Greet photo opportunity with Bluey. Children participating in the VIP experience must be accompanied by at least one adult, and everyone attending the VIP portion must have a VIP ticket.

All performances take place indoors in Reynolds Hall at The Smith Center. The venue recommends arriving early because late seating is at the production’s discretion and may require guests to wait for an appropriate pause in the performance.
The Smith Center offers nearby garage parking at a special event rate for most performances, and valet parking is also available for many Reynolds Hall shows. The venue is cashless for box office purchases and food and beverage transactions.
