Get Outdoors Nevada 25th Anniversary Celebration brings the Southern Nevada outdoor community together at the Las Vegas Civic Center & Carolyn G. Goodman Plaza on November 7th, 2026. The outdoor celebration runs from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM with food, drinks, lawn games, a silent auction, a 25-Year Trail history walk and a program recognizing the nonprofit’s work across Southern Nevada.
The event marks 25 years of Get Outdoors Nevada connecting residents with parks, trails and public lands through environmental education, volunteer projects and community programs. The anniversary gathering is also a fundraiser supporting the organization’s work in the years ahead.
Celebrate 25 Years of Outdoor Access
Get Outdoors Nevada was founded in 2000 with a mission centered on connecting Southern Nevadans with the outdoors. Originally known as the Outside Las Vegas Foundation, the organization later became Get Outdoors Nevada as its programs and partnerships expanded.
Its work includes environmental education, volunteerism, habitat restoration and community outreach. The organization has worked with thousands of volunteers on projects involving parks, trails, public lands, native habitat and outdoor learning spaces throughout the region.
Walk the 25-Year Trail
One of the anniversary activities is the 25-Year Trail history walk, which looks back at milestones from the organization’s first quarter-century. The experience gives guests a chance to learn how Get Outdoors Nevada’s programs and community partnerships have developed over time.
The afternoon is designed as a relaxed community gathering rather than a formal gala, allowing attendees to move between activities, connect with other outdoor supporters and learn more about conservation and recreation efforts in Southern Nevada.
Food, Drinks and Lawn Games
The celebration includes food, drinks and lawn games throughout the afternoon. Guests can spend time on the outdoor plaza while connecting with Get Outdoors Nevada supporters, volunteers, community partners and staff.
The event is open to all ages, making it suitable for families as well as longtime volunteers, outdoor enthusiasts and residents interested in learning more about the organization.
Silent Auction, Raffle and Anniversary Program
A silent auction and raffle are part of the fundraiser, providing additional ways to support Get Outdoors Nevada. The afternoon also includes a formal program highlighting the people, partnerships and projects that have shaped the organization.
The event is expected to conclude with a sunset toast as attendees recognize the organization’s first 25 years and look toward its future work across Southern Nevada.

Another option is Clark County Wetlands Park, with miles of trails, wildlife habitat and open desert-wetland scenery on the east side of the valley.
Las Vegas Civic Center & Plaza
The celebration takes place at the Las Vegas Civic Center & Carolyn G. Goodman Plaza in Downtown Las Vegas. The modern civic campus sits across from Las Vegas City Hall and includes a large outdoor plaza designed for community events, performances and public gatherings.
Parking is available nearby, including the city parking garage at 500 S. Main Street. Parking fees may apply, so attendees should review posted rates when arriving.
