Ghost Patrol Trunk or Treat brings a free Halloween evening to Nevada State Police Highway Patrol’s Southern Command in Las Vegas on October 29th, 2026. The family-friendly event runs from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with candy, games, music, food trucks and a ghost maze.
Hosted by Nevada State Police, the annual event gives families a chance to celebrate Halloween alongside troopers, law enforcement agencies and community partners in a casual outdoor setting.
Trunk-or-Treat With Nevada State Police
Children can move between participating vehicles and activity areas while collecting Halloween candy and treats. Police and community partners will participate throughout the evening, creating a community-focused alternative to traditional neighborhood trick-or-treating.
Costumes fit naturally with the Halloween theme, and families can move through the event at their own pace during the two-hour celebration.
Walk Through the Ghost Maze
One of the featured activities is a ghost maze, adding a spooky element beyond the trunk-or-treat stations. The event is designed as a family Halloween celebration rather than an intense haunted attraction.
Families with younger children can decide which activities are appropriate for their group while still enjoying the candy, games and music available throughout the event.
Games, Music and Community Activities
The evening also includes games and music along with appearances from Nevada State Police personnel and participating community organizations.
The event gives children an opportunity to interact with local first responders in a relaxed environment while families enjoy Halloween activities together.
Food Trucks During the Event
Food trucks are scheduled to participate, giving attendees the option to purchase food during the evening. Food purchases are separate from the free event admission.
Because individual food truck menus and payment options can vary, visitors may want to bring more than one payment method.
Free Halloween Event for Families
Admission is free, making Ghost Patrol an easy Halloween outing for families in the Las Vegas Valley. No paid attraction ticket is required to participate in the trunk-or-treat, games or community activities.
The event takes place at the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Southern Command facility on Bermuda Road and is scheduled for two hours, so families may want to arrive earlier in the evening while candy and activities are fully available.
Tickets and Registration
Ghost Patrol Trunk or Treat is free to attend. No paid general admission ticket is required for families to participate.
