Boulder BOOlevard brings an afternoon of free Halloween trick-or-treating to the Boulder City Historic District on October 24th, 2026. From 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, families can stroll through Historic Downtown Boulder City in costume while participating shops and businesses hand out candy and Halloween goodies.
Organized by Main Street Boulder City, the community event encourages families to explore the Historic District while celebrating Halloween in a walkable downtown setting. The event returns for its second year with organizers expecting even more local business participation.
Trick-or-Treat at Downtown Businesses
Instead of visiting individual homes, children can trick-or-treat at participating businesses throughout the Historic District. Local shops will serve as candy stops, creating an easy route families can follow through downtown.
A complete list or map of participating businesses may be released closer to the event. Families can move between stops at their own pace during the three-hour event.
Costumes Are Encouraged
Kids and adults are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes while exploring Boulder BOOlevard. Along with collecting candy, families can take seasonal photos throughout the Historic District and enjoy the Halloween atmosphere created by participating businesses.
The event is designed for all ages and focuses on daytime community fun rather than haunted-house scares, making it suitable for families with younger children.
Explore Historic Downtown Boulder City
Boulder BOOlevard takes place throughout Historic Downtown Boulder City, where locally owned shops, restaurants, antique stores and other businesses line the walkable district.
Families who want to spend more time in the area can explore the small-town charm of Boulder City, including local restaurants, shops, parks and attractions that make the historic district an easy day trip from the Las Vegas Valley.
Support Local Boulder City Businesses
The event also gives participating businesses an opportunity to connect with local families and visitors. Guests can browse the shops between candy stops, grab food or drinks nearby and discover businesses they may not have visited before.
Boulder BOOlevard is completely free to attend, with no general admission ticket required. Individual purchases from downtown businesses are separate.
What to Know Before You Go
The event takes place throughout an outdoor, walkable downtown district, so comfortable shoes are recommended. Families should also plan for October afternoon weather and bring their own trick-or-treat bags or buckets.
Because participating businesses are spread throughout the Historic District, guests should watch for event signage and any official trick-or-treat map released before the event.
Tickets and Registration
Boulder BOOlevard is free to attend. No general admission ticket is required for families to participate in trick-or-treating at participating Historic Downtown Boulder City businesses.
