Fergie’s Fun Fright returns to Boulder City on select nights from October 23rd through November 1st, 2026 with a free Halloween blacklight maze filled with animatronics, glowing displays, strobe lights and changing themes. The neighborhood attraction runs from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and offers both a scarier route and a more Halloween-sensitive experience for younger or easily frightened visitors.
The attraction is open on October 23rd, 24th, 25th, 30th and 31st, plus November 1st. It is not open every night between the first and final dates.
A Halloween Blacklight Maze
The centerpiece of Fergie’s Fun Fright is a walk-through Halloween maze illuminated with black lights. Visitors encounter animatronics, themed displays, lighting effects and decorations as they make their way through the attraction.
The displays change each year, so returning visitors can expect a different setup from previous Halloween seasons. The attraction is personally designed and funded by its creator as a neighborhood Halloween tradition rather than a commercial haunted house.
Choose the Scary or Halloween-Sensitive Side
Fergie’s Fun Fright is designed to accommodate different comfort levels. Guests looking for more traditional Halloween scares can explore the scary side, while children and visitors who prefer a gentler experience can choose the Halloween-sensitive side.
This two-route format makes the attraction accessible to families with children of different ages without requiring everyone in the group to experience the same level of scares.
A Boulder City Halloween Tradition
The roots of Fergie’s Fun Fright go back to 1997, when Charlene Ferguson and her father, James, began creating haunted-house displays together. Charlene later revived the family tradition and brought it to Boulder City after moving to the community.
Fergie’s Fun Fright debuted in Boulder City in 2023 and was named in honor of her father. The attraction continues as a community project created for neighbors, families and anyone who enjoys Halloween displays and home haunts.
Free Admission With Donations Encouraged
There is no admission charge for Fergie’s Fun Fright. Instead, the attraction serves as an official donation drop-off location for Emergency Aid of Boulder City.
Guests are encouraged to bring needed nonperishable items if they are able. Current high-need items listed by Emergency Aid of Boulder City include canned tuna, canned chicken, canned chili, canned pasta, pasta sauce, peanut butter and condiments. Donated food should be unexpired and nonperishable.
Family-Friendly Halloween Fun
The attraction is promoted as fun for all ages. Families can choose the less-intense section for younger children, while teens and adults who want more Halloween thrills can explore the scarier portion.
Because this is a neighborhood attraction at a private residence, visitors should be considerate of nearby homes, follow posted directions and avoid blocking driveways or neighboring properties when arriving.
Tickets and Registration
Fergie’s Fun Fright is free to attend and does not require a paid admission ticket. Visitors are encouraged to support the community food drive by bringing an unexpired nonperishable donation for Emergency Aid of Boulder City.
