HallOVeen at the Magical Forest returns to Opportunity Village on select nights from October 2nd through October 31st, 2026, transforming the 2.5-acre Magical Forest into a family-friendly Halloween experience filled with decorated trees, jack-o’-lanterns, rides, trick-or-treating, carnival games, and nightly entertainment.
The event operates October 2nd–4th and October 9th–31st, rather than every night of the month. Hours are 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM Sunday through Thursday and 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM Friday and Saturday.
Walk Through the Haunted Magical Forest
Skeletons, pumpkins, friendly witches, and ghosts take over the Magical Forest for the Halloween season. Visitors can wander through a cemetery of decorated trees and glowing jack-o’-lanterns while stopping for photos and exploring the different attractions throughout the park.
HallOVeen is designed to be spooky without becoming a traditional intense haunted house. The experience is aimed at families and visitors of all ages, with plenty of activities available for younger children.
Rides, Mini Golf and the Slightly Spooky Funhouse
Several of Opportunity Village’s familiar attractions receive a Halloween makeover. Guests can race down the 50-foot Avalanche Slide, ride Cheyenne’s Enchanted Carousel, take the Forest Express Passenger Train through the park, or spin on the Wizard’s Wondrous Whirlpool.
Hal & Hally’s Slightly Spooky Funhouse adds a Halloween-themed walk-through attraction, while Rod’s Mini Golf provides another activity for families who want a break from the rides.

Trick-or-Treating and Carnival Games
HallOVeen includes an all-new trick-or-treat street along with trick-or-treat stations throughout the experience. Costumes are encouraged, giving children another chance to dress up before Halloween night.
The Magical Midway features carnival-style games including Ring Toss, Duck Pond, Goblet Toss and Ball in the Bucket. Midway games are priced separately at $5 per game.
Food, Shopping and Nightly Entertainment
Visitors can make an evening of the event with food, treats, shopping and nightly entertainment. Camelot Hall and food outlets along the main walkway offer meals and carnival-style snacks, while the Cookie Cabin serves Opportunity Village’s popular cookies.
Gift shops around the Magical Forest sell seasonal merchandise, light-up toys, and other Halloween items. A 21+ beer garden is also available on select evenings for adult guests.
Costumes and Family Guidelines
HallOVeen is an all-ages event, and children age 3 and younger receive free admission. Some rides require guests to be at least 42 inches tall unless they ride with a guardian.
Costumes are welcome, but adults may not wear masks that cover their faces. Face paint and makeup are allowed as long as the face remains visible. Real, replica, or realistic-looking weapons are not permitted, and costumes with explicit or objectionable imagery are also prohibited.
What to Know Before You Go
The entire experience is outdoors, so guests should dress for the evening weather and wear comfortable shoes. HallOVeen is accessible to guests with disabilities, and a limited number of wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Security screenings are required at entry, including metal detectors. Large backpacks and duffel bags are not permitted, although diaper and childcare bags are allowed and may be searched.
Tickets and Registration
General admission is $24, and children age 3 and younger are free. HallOVeen uses date-specific tickets, so guests must choose the night they plan to attend when purchasing admission. On-site ticket sales may be available, but advance purchase is recommended because individual nights can sell out.
