Lei Day Parade is happening on May 1 from 6 PM to 6:30 PM at Downtown Summerlin.
In celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, the fourth annual Lei Day Parade will feature local Halaus and Polynesian Dance Companies, including Hot Lava Productions, Nani Ola Hawaiian Dance Company, Tevakanui Polynesian Dance Group, and Na Hula Hali’a Cultural Preservation.
Attendees can look forward to witnessing the Ancient Hula Kahiko accompanied by a chanter who tells the story, the free-flowing modern style of Hula Auana, the passionate Māori Haka, the lively hip-shaking Tahitian Dances, and more.
