McKee Ranch Pumpkin Patch brings a month of family-friendly fall activities to McKee Ranch in Southwest Las Vegas from October 3rd through October 31st, 2026. The seasonal event runs from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM and combines pumpkin picking with farm animals, pony and horse rides, train rides and plenty of opportunities for fall photos.
McKee Ranch is a nonprofit working ranch located just behind Silverton Casino Hotel. Unlike a carnival-style pumpkin patch, the experience centers around the ranch itself, giving children a chance to spend time around horses, goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits and other animals while enjoying seasonal activities.
Pick a Pumpkin at the Ranch
Families visiting during October can browse the pumpkin patch and choose a pumpkin to take home. Current event information lists admission at $25 per family and includes one pumpkin.
The rustic ranch setting also creates plenty of opportunities for family photos among the pumpkins, barns, animals and other seasonal displays.
Feed the Farm Animals
The animals are a major part of the McKee Ranch experience. Guests can see and interact with horses, ponies, goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits and other ranch animals while exploring the property.
Visitors can purchase feed for the animals, including carrots for larger farm animals and popcorn for ducks and chicks. Anyone who has not visited before can learn more about the ranch, its animals and what the property is like in our McKee Ranch Foundation guide.
Horse, Pony and Train Rides
Additional activities include horse rides, pony rides and train rides. These experiences are priced separately from the family pumpkin patch admission, allowing visitors to choose which activities they want to add during their visit.
Current listed prices are $10 for horse rides, $5 for pony rides and $2 for train rides. Families may want to bring a mix of payment options in case individual ranch activities are handled separately.

A Fall Outing for Younger Kids
McKee Ranch Pumpkin Patch is especially well suited to families with younger children who enjoy animals and outdoor activities. The atmosphere is more relaxed than a large amusement-style pumpkin patch, with much of the visit centered around walking the ranch, feeding animals and spending time outdoors.
Closed-toe shoes are a good choice since guests will be walking through an active ranch environment. October afternoons can also remain warm in Las Vegas, so water, sunscreen and comfortable clothing are useful during daytime visits.
Support the McKee Ranch Foundation
McKee Ranch Foundation is a nonprofit organization focused on giving families and children opportunities to experience farm animals and ranch life. The organization also cares for rescued animals and hosts seasonal community activities throughout the year.
Visiting the pumpkin patch helps support the ranch while providing families with a local alternative to larger commercial fall attractions.
Parking at McKee Ranch
Parking is free for pumpkin patch visitors. McKee Ranch is located on Dean Martin Drive behind the Silverton area in Southwest Las Vegas.
The ranch is outdoors, so visitors should plan for uneven ranch surfaces and changing weather conditions during their visit.
Tickets and Registration
Pumpkin patch admission is $25 per family and includes one pumpkin. Horse rides, pony rides, train rides and animal feed are available for an additional charge. Advance online ticketing is not currently required.
