Fall in Las Vegas may look a little different from autumn in other parts of the country, but October still brings plenty of chances to pick pumpkins, wander through corn mazes, visit farm animals, ride carnival rides, and spend an evening surrounded by seasonal decorations.
The important thing to know is that not every Las Vegas pumpkin patch is the same kind of experience. Some are working farms and orchards where you can actually walk through fields and choose pumpkins. Others are seasonal carnival-style attractions with pumpkins, rides, and games. There are also neighborhood fall festivals where the pumpkin patch is just one part of a larger evening.
We’ve explored several of these fall experiences ourselves, while others are current 2026 events we’re including to make this guide more useful across the Las Vegas Valley. Use the quick guide below to choose the kind of fall outing that fits your family, date night, or weekend plans.

Fall Experiences We’ve Visited
These are fall destinations where Everyday.Vegas has firsthand experience. That distinction matters, especially when comparing a genuine orchard or community festival with the temporary carnival-style pumpkin patches that appear around the valley each October.

Gilcrease Orchard Fall Harvest
If your idea of a pumpkin patch involves walking through an actual growing field, Gilcrease Orchard is one of the strongest choices in Las Vegas.
Our visit to Gilcrease Orchard showed why the northwest valley property feels very different from a parking-lot pumpkin patch. Families can explore the orchard, pick seasonal produce and pumpkins, take photos among the fields and make the outing about the harvest itself rather than rides and midway games.
The Fall Harvest adds wagon rides, corn and straw mazes and seasonal activities from late September through Halloween. Choose Gilcrease when the priority is pumpkin picking, farm scenery and a daytime fall experience.

Fall Harvest at Gilcrease Orchard
Visit Gilcrease Orchard for Fall Harvest September 26–October 31, featuring a you-pick pumpkin patch, wagon rides, corn and straw mazes,...
Summerlin Pumpkin Patch at The Resorts at Summerlin
We previously visited Halloween Town when its Summerlin-area pumpkin patch operated at Boca Park. For 2026, Halloween Town moved its Summerlin Pumpkin Patch from Boca Park to The Resorts at Summerlin at 221 N. Rampart Blvd., on the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa and Rampart Casino property.
Our original Halloween Town visit focused on its combination of pumpkins, kiddie rides, carnival games and easy fall entertainment for families with younger children. The location has changed, but the concept remains much more carnival-style than agricultural.
For Summerlin families, this is the convenient choice when the kids are more interested in rides and games than walking through a working pumpkin field.

The Summerlin Pumpkin Patch features pumpkins, kiddie rides, carnival games, a hay maze, food, and family-friendly fall activities.
The UnCommon Harvest
UnCommons offers a completely different version of a Las Vegas fall outing.
When we visited The UnCommons Harvest Fall Fest, the experience blended a pumpkin patch with local vendors, music, food and the restaurants already surrounding the property. It felt more like a neighborhood evening out than a traditional agricultural pumpkin patch.
For 2026, The UnCommon Harvest returns through October with pumpkins, games, local vendors, music and seasonal activities. This is one of the better choices when adults want something they can enjoy too—particularly if the plan includes dinner, drinks or dessert before or after walking through the festival.

Traditional Pumpkin Patches, Farms and Orchards
If you specifically want pumpkins combined with fields, animals, crops or a working-farm atmosphere, start with this group.
Moapa Valley Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch
Moapa Valley Corn Maze is the option for families willing to turn pumpkin picking into more of an excursion.
Located in Logandale, roughly an hour northeast of Las Vegas, Moapa Valley Corn Maze runs from October 9 through November 1, 2026, combining a 9-acre corn maze, pumpkin patch, hayrides, farm activities, and separately ticketed nighttime haunted attractions.
The experience also changes after dark, when haunted attractions become part of the lineup. That makes Moapa especially useful for families with older kids or groups that want daytime fall activities followed by something scarier at night.

Moapa Valley Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch
The Moapa Valley Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch returns October 2 with a 10-acre corn maze, pumpkins, family activities and...
McKee Ranch Pumpkin Patch
McKee Ranch gives families a smaller and more rustic alternative without leaving the valley.
The ranch setting means pumpkins share the experience with farm animals, pony and horse rides, train rides and animal feeding. It feels more personal and less like a full-scale carnival than many of the temporary October patches.
For families with younger children who get more excited about seeing and feeding animals than riding large carnival attractions, McKee Ranch deserves a place near the top of the list.

McKee Ranch Pumpkin Patch combines pumpkins, farm animals, pony and horse rides, train rides and family fall activities at a...
The Las Vegas Farm Fall Harvest Festival
The Las Vegas Farm brings together pumpkins, farm animals and seasonal market shopping in northwest Las Vegas.
Its Fall Harvest Festival includes pumpkins and squash in a wide range of varieties, along with a maize maze, seasonal foods and access to the farm experience. The setting gives it a stronger agricultural feel than the parking-lot pumpkin patches around town.
It is especially useful for families who want pumpkins and animals without making the drive to Moapa Valley.

Carnival-Style Pumpkin Patches Around Las Vegas
These are the places to consider when pumpkins are only part of the attraction. Expect more emphasis on rides, games, inflatables, food and nighttime entertainment.
Vegas Pumpkin Patch at Cowabunga Bay
Vegas Pumpkin Patch turns the Cowabunga Bay parking lot in Henderson into one of the valley’s larger seasonal carnival experiences.
The attraction combines pumpkins with more than 30 rides, games, food vendors, a hay maze, family activities and photo opportunities. Admission and parking are free, while rides, games and food are purchased separately.
This is a good choice when the goal is less about agricultural authenticity and more about spending an evening walking around, riding attractions and letting different age groups find something to do.

Vegas Pumpkin Patch at Cowabunga Bay
Vegas Pumpkin Patch returns to Cowabunga Bay in Henderson October 2 with 30+ carnival rides, games, food vendors, pumpkins, a...
Northwest Pumpkin Patch
Halloween Town’s Northwest location is designed as one of its larger carnival-style setups.
Instead of focusing only on small children, the Northwest patch mixes pumpkins with full-size carnival rides, kiddie rides, games, food and a hay maze. That makes it useful for households where younger children and older siblings need different levels of entertainment.

Halloween Town Northwest combines a large pumpkin patch with full-size rides, kiddie attractions, carnival games, a hay maze and seasonal...
Southwest Pumpkin Patch
The Southwest Pumpkin Patch follows a similar format with a larger ride lineup, carnival games, pumpkins and seasonal attractions.
This is another location where the pumpkin patch functions more as part of an October carnival. Families with teens or older children may find the stronger ride selection more appealing than a patch built mainly for toddlers.

Southwest Pumpkin Patch features 24 rides, 12 games, pumpkins, a hay maze, food and family-friendly Halloween activities.
St. Rose Pkwy Pumpkin Patch
For families on the south side of Henderson, the St. Rose Pkwy Pumpkin Patch provides another Halloween Town option without crossing the valley.
Expect pumpkins alongside carnival rides, games, food and a hay maze. It makes the most sense as a close-to-home evening activity for Henderson residents rather than a destination you need to drive across town to visit.

Halloween Town St. Rose Pkwy Pumpkin Patch brings pumpkins, carnival rides, games, a hay maze and family Halloween fun to...
Neighborhood Pumpkin Patches for Younger Families
Two additional patches in the valley lean heavily into family attractions such as inflatables, animals and train rides.
Henderson Pumpkin Patch
The Seasonal Adventures Henderson Pumpkin Patch combines pumpkins with rides, inflatables, a petting zoo and train rides.
Compared with the larger midway-style attractions, this format can work particularly well for families with younger children who want several activities in one manageable seasonal stop.

Henderson Pumpkin Patch Seasonal Adventures features pumpkins, mechanical rides, inflatables, a petting zoo, train rides and family fall fun.
Centennial Hills Pumpkin Patch
Centennial Hills gets its own Seasonal Adventures pumpkin patch for October.
The setup includes pumpkins, rides, inflatables, a petting zoo and train rides, giving northwest residents another option beyond Gilcrease Orchard and The Las Vegas Farm.
The key difference is atmosphere. Choose Gilcrease or The Farm if agricultural surroundings matter most; choose Centennial Hills when rides and children’s attractions are the bigger priority.

Centennial Hills Pumpkin Patch
Centennial Hills Pumpkin Patch features pumpkins, mechanical rides, inflatables, a petting zoo, train rides and family fall activities.
Fall Festivals With Pumpkins
Not every worthwhile October event needs to be a dedicated pumpkin patch. These festivals add pumpkins to a larger community event.
Great Pumpkin Festival
The Great Pumpkin Festival takes place October 24–25 at Otonomus Hotel and offers a shorter two-day alternative to the month-long patches.
The free festival includes a farmers market, local vendors, food trucks, family activities, fall photo opportunities and a pumpkin-painting contest.
This is worth considering if your family wants a free daytime fall festival but does not necessarily need a full corn maze or carnival midway.

The Great Pumpkin Festival comes to Otonomus Hotel October 24–25, 2026, with two days of fall fun featuring a farmers...
Where to Go Based on the Fall Experience You Want

For a Real Pumpkin Field
Start with Gilcrease Orchard or make the drive to Moapa Valley Corn Maze. Both put the agricultural setting at the center of the visit instead of using pumpkins mainly as decoration around carnival rides.
For a Corn Maze
Moapa Valley offers the most destination-style corn-maze experience and can fill several hours. Gilcrease Orchard also incorporates a maze into its Fall Harvest, making it easier for families who want to stay inside the valley.
For Toddlers and Younger Kids
McKee Ranch, Henderson Pumpkin Patch and the Summerlin Halloween Town location are strong starting points. Animals, smaller rides, inflatables and train-style attractions often work better for younger children than a giant midway.
For Older Kids and Teens
Look toward Vegas Pumpkin Patch at Cowabunga Bay, Northwest Pumpkin Patch or Southwest Pumpkin Patch, where larger rides and carnival games play a bigger role.
Moapa Valley can also work well for older kids because families can stay into the evening for the haunted attractions.

For a Date Night
The UnCommon Harvest stands out because the festival is surrounded by restaurants, coffee, dessert and places to grab a drink. It is easy to make the pumpkin patch one part of a broader evening rather than the entire plan.
Vegas Pumpkin Patch can also make for a casual carnival-style date if rides and games sound more appealing than a farm.
For a Traditional Fall Day
Choose Gilcrease Orchard, The Las Vegas Farm or Moapa Valley. These come closest to the classic combination of pumpkins, fields, produce, mazes and outdoor farm activities.
For a Free or Lower-Commitment Visit
The UnCommon Harvest and Great Pumpkin Festival are useful when you want to enjoy seasonal atmosphere without committing to a large attraction package.
Vegas Pumpkin Patch at Cowabunga Bay also offers free general entry and parking, although rides, games and food are separate.
Make a Day of Your Pumpkin Patch Visit
Pumpkin patches can be a quick stop, but several are better when paired with something else nearby.
In northwest Las Vegas, Gilcrease Orchard and The Las Vegas Farm sit close enough together that fall weekends can easily include both farm experiences, although doing both at peak times can make for a long day.
Summerlin’s pumpkin patch is now at the Resort at Summerlin complex, putting visitors near several dining and entertainment options around the JW Marriott, Rampart and surrounding Summerlin neighborhoods.
At UnCommons, making a day—or evening—of it is especially easy because restaurants, cafes and dessert shops are built directly into the property.
Moapa Valley is different. Treat it more like a seasonal day trip rather than a quick neighborhood stop. Give yourself enough time for the drive, farm activities, maze and pumpkins before deciding whether to stay for the nighttime attractions.
Planning Your Las Vegas Pumpkin Patch Visit
October weekends can get busy quickly, particularly once temperatures drop and Halloween gets closer.
For farms and orchards, daytime visits make the most sense. Closed-toe shoes are a good idea whenever you are walking through dirt, fields or farm areas, and conditions can be dusty or uneven.
Carnival-style patches generally become more atmospheric after dark when the rides and lights come on, but that is also when crowds tend to build. Families with very young children may prefer arriving earlier.
Always check the individual Everyday.Vegas event page before leaving home. Hours, ticket policies, special activities and weather-related schedules can change during the season.
Another important distinction is cost. Some events charge admission, some charge per family, some allow free entry but charge separately for rides and games, and some festivals are free. Think about what your group actually plans to do instead of comparing admission prices alone.
