Vegas Pumpkin Patch returns to the Cowabunga Bay parking lot in Henderson from October 2nd through October 31st, 2026, combining a traditional pumpkin patch with carnival rides, midway games, food vendors, and free family activities. The outdoor event is open every night in October beginning October 2nd, with admission and parking free throughout the season.
This is more than a place to pick out a pumpkin. The seasonal setup includes more than 30 carnival rides, more than 30 games, and over 10 food vendors along with pumpkin displays, Halloween decorations, and photo opportunities throughout the grounds.
Carnival Rides for Kids, Families and Thrill Seekers
The midway includes a mix of kiddie rides, family attractions and larger thrill rides. The exact lineup can vary, but attractions featured at Vegas Pumpkin Patch include a Ferris wheel, carousel, Super Slide, spinning rides and faster carnival attractions such as the Zipper, Gravitron and Ring of Fire.
Ride height, size, and weight requirements vary by attraction. Guests can purchase individual ride tickets or choose a ride pass or wristband. Individual rides require three or more tickets, depending on the attraction.
Free Activities Inside the Pumpkin Patch
Families don’t need to buy a ride pass to enjoy the event. Entry, parking, the hay maze, the kids activity center, and photo opportunities are free, so you can visit the pumpkin patch without paying general admission.
Rows of pumpkins and seasonal displays create plenty of Halloween photo spots throughout the event. Pumpkins are also available to purchase for families looking to take one home for decorating or carving.
Carnival Games and Festival Food
More than 30 carnival games are planned throughout the midway. Games are priced separately from rides and are not included with free admission.
The event also features more than 10 food vendors serving carnival-style meals, snacks, and treats. Families purchase food and games separately, so they can decide how much to spend when they arrive.
Halloween Night at Vegas Pumpkin Patch
October 31st includes an additional Halloween celebration with free trick-or-treating, a free Halloween party, live music, and a DJ. Costumes are encouraged, and the Halloween activities are open to all ages.
Regular rides, games, and food remain paid separately on Halloween night. The organizer notes that special Halloween operating hours may be announced separately, so visitors attending on the final night should check for any schedule updates before leaving home.
Hours Vary by Day
Vegas Pumpkin Patch uses different operating hours throughout the week. Monday through Thursday runs from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Friday from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Saturday from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Closing times can occasionally extend on especially busy nights or move earlier as crowds thin out. Daily ride wristbands are valid from opening until 9:00 PM, even on nights when the pumpkin patch remains open later.
Tickets and Registration
General admission and parking are free. Visitors only pay for rides, games, food, and other purchases. Ride options include individual tickets, a two-hour ride pass, and a daily ride wristband. You can buy tickets and ride passes online or at the Carnival Ticketing Center at the event.
