The Fright Zone

The Fright Zone
OCT 9
October 9, 2026 7:00 pm → October 31, 2026 10:00 pm Tom Devlin's Monster Museum

The Fright Zone returns to Tom Devlin’s Monster Museum in Boulder City for 13 select nights from October 9th through October 31st, 2026. This year’s experience combines the new Blackwell Manor haunted house with admission to Tom Devlin’s Monster Museum, giving guests two horror attractions with one ticket.

The Fright Zone opens at 7:00 PM on each operating night. Friday and Saturday events run until 10:00 PM, while Sunday through Thursday dates close at 9:00 PM.

Enter Blackwell Manor

The centerpiece of The Fright Zone is Blackwell Manor, a haunted-house experience built around the Blackwell family’s story and a mysterious well beneath their home. The attraction uses detailed sets, live actors, practical creatures and special effects to create a traditional walk-through Halloween haunt.

Guests should expect dark spaces, sudden scares, monsters, loud effects and an intense atmosphere. The experience comes from Hollywood special makeup effects artist Tom Devlin, whose career has centered on practical creature and monster design.

One Ticket Includes Two Attractions

After making it through Blackwell Manor, admission continues inside Tom Devlin’s Monster Museum. The museum showcases movie monsters, masks, props, costumes, practical effects and screen-used pieces connected to horror filmmaking and Devlin’s work as a special effects artist.

The combination makes The Fright Zone different from a standalone haunted house. Visitors get both the live Halloween attraction and the museum experience during the same visit.

Recommended for Ages 12 and Older

The organizer recommends The Fright Zone for guests age 12 and older because Blackwell Manor includes darkness, live scares and intense effects. Younger guests may attend at a parent or guardian’s discretion, and minors should be accompanied by an adult.

Actors will not intentionally touch visitors, and guests are not permitted to touch performers, props or sets.

Accessibility and What to Wear

Tom Devlin’s Monster Museum is generally accessible, but Blackwell Manor includes tight spaces, uneven footing, low lighting and loud effects. Service animals are permitted, while pets and strollers are not allowed inside the haunted attraction.

Closed-toe, flat shoes are strongly recommended. Guests should avoid heels, sandals and loose items that could make it harder to move through dark or narrow areas.

Parking at The Fright Zone

Parking is available on Six Companies Drive behind Tom Devlin’s Monster Museum. Drivers can access the parking area from Yucca Street or Mesquite Street.

The attraction is located in Boulder City, about a 30-minute drive from Las Vegas, making it an easy Halloween night trip for locals looking for a traditional haunted-house experience outside the Strip.

Tickets and Registration

General admission is $35 and includes both Blackwell Manor and Tom Devlin’s Monster Museum. Advance tickets are recommended because The Fright Zone operates for only 13 nights during October.
