The event brings together grape stomping, live music, local vendors, food, wine and beer tastings, and friendly competition for a full day at the winery.
Whether you want to step into the grapes yourself or simply watch the competition, there are plenty of ways to join the festivities.
For the main event, teams of two will compete by stomping grapes the old-fashioned way while friends, family, and other guests cheer them on. Visitors who aren’t participating in the stomp can enjoy the live entertainment, grab something to eat, and sample wine and beer throughout the day.
This year’s celebration also includes a costume competition. Guests are encouraged to arrive in creative, funny, spooky, festive, or even grape-inspired costumes. The first-place winner will take home the Grape Stomp Costume Contest trophy.
Local vendors and makers will also be set up throughout the event with handmade goods, jewelry, baked treats, and other finds. It gives visitors a chance to shop small businesses between the day’s tastings, entertainment, and grape-stomping competitions.
