Grape Stomp at Charleston Peak Winery brings a fall harvest tradition to Pahrump on October 10th, 2026. The all-ages event runs from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM with team grape stomping, live music, local vendors, food, wine and beer tastings, and a costume competition.
Visitors do not have to compete in the grape stomp to attend. Guests can spend the day cheering on the teams, listening to music, browsing local makers, grabbing something to eat and exploring the winery while the competition takes place.
Compete in the Grape Stomp
The main event is the two-person grape-stomping competition. Teams take turns stomping grapes the traditional way while friends, family members and other spectators cheer them on.
Grape-stomp participation requires a separate team ticket. The current rate is $60 per team of two, while visitors who prefer to watch can purchase standard General Admission instead.
Wine and Beer Tastings
Guests interested in the winery side of the festival can purchase a wine and beer tasting ticket for $25. Tastings provide an additional way to experience Charleston Peak Winery while enjoying the festival activities.
Alcoholic tastings are limited to guests who meet legal drinking-age requirements. Visitors who are not drinking can still participate in the food, entertainment, shopping and grape-stomping festivities.
Come in Costume
This year’s event adds a costume competition, and guests are encouraged to arrive in creative, funny, spooky or grape-inspired outfits.
The first-place winner will receive the Grape Stomp Costume Contest trophy, adding another friendly competition to the afternoon beyond the grape-stomping teams.
Live Music, Food and Local Vendors
Live music is scheduled throughout the day while local vendors and makers set up around the winery. Shoppers can browse handmade goods, jewelry, baked treats and other specialty products while supporting small businesses.
Food will also be available during the festival, allowing visitors to make a full day of the event without participating in the stomp or tasting packages.
An All-Ages Fall Event
The festival is listed as all ages, so families are welcome to attend and watch the grape-stomping competition. General Admission is the lowest-cost option for visitors who simply want to enjoy the atmosphere, entertainment and vendors.
The event takes place at Charleston Peak Winery, a roughly nine-acre estate winery in Pahrump with vineyards and views toward the surrounding desert mountains.

General Admission is $5. A wine and beer tasting ticket is $25, while grape-stomping participation costs $60 for a team of two. Guests who simply want to watch the competition and enjoy the festival do not need to purchase a grape-stomp team ticket.
