Train Rides at Nevada State Railroad Museum! All aboard for a family-friendly day at the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Boulder City on Saturday, September 19, 2026.
The museum is celebrating the Grand Opening of its new Visitor Center, and families are invited to join the festivities and ride the small trains.
Visitors can climb aboard the miniature trains for a fun ride that’s perfect for kids and train enthusiasts of all ages. The small train area is located just down the hill from the parking area at 601 Yucca Street. Visitors can also look for the train sign along Six Companies Drive on the way to the new Visitor Center.
The event offers families a chance to experience the museum, celebrate the opening of its newest addition, and enjoy a unique railroad attraction in Boulder City.
