Trick or Treat Fest Las Vegas brings two nights of family-friendly Halloween fun to Clark County Museum on October 16th and 17th, 2026. The event runs from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM each night and combines trick-or-treating with live entertainment, themed games, costume contests and access to the museum’s historic homes.
The setting makes this Halloween event especially different from a standard trunk-or-treat. Families can walk through Heritage Street, explore restored homes from Southern Nevada’s past and collect candy along the way in a festive environment designed for all ages.
Trick-or-Treat Through Historic Homes
The main attraction is the chance to trick-or-treat through the Clark County Museum’s historic homes. Guests are encouraged to step inside the preserved buildings and learn more about what daily life looked like in Southern Nevada during different eras.
The museum’s collection includes historic homes, railroad exhibits and other structures that make the event feel more immersive than a typical neighborhood Halloween stop. For a closer look at the property before attending, read our Clark County Museum guide.
Live Entertainment and Themed Games
In addition to trick-or-treating, the festival includes live entertainment and Halloween-themed games throughout the museum grounds. These activities give families more to do between candy stops and historic-home visits.
The event is designed to feel festive rather than frightening, making it approachable for children and families who want Halloween fun without an intense haunted-house atmosphere.
Costume Contests for Halloween Fans
Costumes are highly encouraged, and costume contests are part of the weekend activities. Guests can dress as witches, superheroes, movie characters or other Halloween favorites while exploring the museum.
Because the event is family-friendly, attendees are asked to avoid overly graphic costumes and realistic-looking prop weapons. Costumed guests should also avoid intentionally scaring other visitors.
A Family-Friendly Halloween Event
Trick or Treat Fest is designed for all ages. Families with younger children or guests who are especially sensitive to Halloween effects may find the earlier portion of the evening more comfortable.
The museum grounds include both indoor exhibits and outdoor historic areas, so visitors should be prepared to spend much of the evening walking outside between attractions.
Explore Clark County History While You Celebrate
One of the biggest differences between this festival and other Halloween events is the opportunity to combine seasonal activities with local history. Visitors can explore historic buildings and exhibits while learning more about the communities that helped shape Las Vegas, Henderson, Boulder City and the surrounding region.
The experience works well for families who want something beyond candy collection while still keeping the evening centered around Halloween.
Tickets and Registration
Admission is $15 per person. Tickets are on sale through the official Trick or Treat Fest Las Vegas website, and advance purchase is recommended for families planning to attend either night.
