Veterans Day Resident Parade & Cruise-In
NOV 11
November 11, 2026 • 9:00 am–12:00 pm Nevada State Veterans Home

Veterans Day Resident Parade & Cruise-In with Our Veterans returns to the Southern Nevada State Veterans Home in Boulder City on November 11th, 2026. The morning event runs from 9:00 AM to noon and brings classic cars, community members and veterans together for a resident parade followed by a car show.

The event is presented in partnership with the Boulder City Cruisin’ Association, Piss & Moan Club and Southern Nevada State Veterans Home. Participating drivers will parade their vehicles past residents and invited dignitaries before parking for the cruise-in portion of the morning.

Veterans Day Resident Parade

Participating vehicles begin lining up along Veterans Memorial Drive at 9:00 AM. At approximately 9:20 AM, the cars will enter the veterans home parking lot and make a short parade around the circular driveway.

Residents and invited dignitaries will gather along the route to watch the vehicles pass before drivers exit the circular drive and return to the parking lot for the car show.

Car Show at the Veterans Home

After the parade, the car show runs from approximately 9:30 AM until noon. Volunteers will direct registered vehicles into designated display spaces.

The cruise-in gives residents an opportunity to come outside, see the cars and spend time with participating drivers and community members during the Veterans Day gathering.

Free Registration for 120 Vehicles

Vehicle registration is free for the first 120 cars, but advance registration is required. Organizers ask drivers to register only if they are certain they can attend and remain through noon.

Because vehicle space is limited, drivers interested in joining the parade and car show should register in advance rather than arriving without a reservation.

Breakfast and Lunch for Car Show Participants

Registered car show participants will receive food during the event. Carl’s Donuts is providing breakfast, while Railroad Pass Hotel & Casino is providing lunch.

Lunch is scheduled from 11:00 AM to noon and is specifically listed for car show participants.

Southern Nevada State Veterans Home

The event takes place at the Southern Nevada State Veterans Home, a state-operated skilled nursing facility in Boulder City serving eligible veterans, spouses and Gold Star parents.

The Veterans Day parade and cruise-in is structured around the home’s residents, giving them a chance to participate in the holiday celebration without leaving the facility.

Tickets and Registration

There is no registration fee for participating vehicles, but advance registration is required and limited to the first 120 cars. Drivers should register only if they can attend the full event through noon.
