For French pastries, crêpes, coffee, and a casual breakfast or lunch near Summerlin, Burgundy French Bakery & Cafe brings a taste of France to West Sahara Avenue.

The locally owned Las Vegas bakery combines a pastry case filled with croissants, danishes, macarons, tarts, and other desserts with a savory menu of breakfast dishes, sandwiches, quiche, flatbreads, and crêpes. If you enjoy exploring Las Vegas cafés and bakeries, Burgundy offers plenty of reasons to stop in for more than just something sweet.

Burgundy also has a comfortable neighborhood-café atmosphere. The French-inspired décor feels relaxed rather than formal, with indoor seating and an outdoor patio where you can settle in with coffee, breakfast, or lunch.

French Pastries, Crêpes and Breakfast at Burgundy Bakery

The pastry case is one of the first things that gets your attention. Burgundy’s current menu includes classic croissants, chocolate croissants, almond croissants, cheese danishes, cinnamon rolls, beignets, apple turnovers, brioche, and other baked treats.

One of our favorites was the cheese danish—light, flaky, and creamy in the center. If you enjoy comparing French-style bakeries around town, Rosallie Le French Cafe is another local stop centered around pastries, coffee, and café fare.

Burgundy’s savory breakfast menu goes beyond pastries. Current choices include a breakfast sandwich, omelets, an egg-white spinach and feta frittata, a salmon bagel, and savory danishes.

Hot Sandwiches and Savory Crêpes for Lunch

Lunch is just as varied. Burgundy’s menu includes Croque Monsieur, Croque-Madame, quiche, Chicken Pesto, Cuban, Ham & Cheese Croissant, Turkey Croissant, and a Chicken Brie & Caramelized Onions Croissant.

We tried the Chicken Pesto sandwich, and it was excellent. It was filling and flavorful, making it an easy choice when you want something more substantial than a pastry.

The current savory crêpe lineup includes Ham & Cheese, Chicken Pesto, and Veggie. For a café where crêpes are the main event, our visit to Crepe Expectations is another useful option for sweet, savory, and breakfast-style crêpes in Las Vegas.

Burgundy has also expanded its savory side with sourdough flatbreads and pizzas, including Margherita, pesto, BBQ chicken, pepperoni and cheese, and other combinations.

Macarons, Tarts and French Desserts

If dessert is what brings you through the door, Burgundy has plenty to choose from. The current menu includes chocolate tart, lemon meringue tart, Napoleon, flan, éclairs, Opera, cheesecake, seasonal desserts, sweet crêpes, macarons, and cookies.

The Nutella crêpe we tried was rich and sweet inside a soft, golden crêpe. Burgundy also offers sweet crêpes with sugar, apricot, strawberry, and blueberry.

The macaron selection is especially colorful, with current flavors including Vanilla White Chocolate, Raspberry, Chocolate, Pistachio, Lemon, Blueberry Lavender, Mango Passion Fruit, Strawberry Matcha, and Birthday Cake.

If pastry cases and creative desserts are your thing, Gäbi Coffee & Bakery offers another very different Las Vegas café experience with specialty drinks, pastries, cakes, and light meals.

Gelato During Our Visit

During our visit, Burgundy also had gelato available, giving us another sweet option beyond the pastry case. Since gelato is not currently listed on Burgundy’s online menu, flavors and availability may vary, so check the display case when you arrive.

Coffee, Matcha and Café Drinks

A French bakery needs a good drink menu, and Burgundy covers the café basics with espresso, drip coffee, Americano, cappuccino, latte, mocha, Caramel Macchiato, Cold Brew, tea, and more.

The Caramel Macchiato is an easy pairing with a morning pastry or afternoon dessert. If you’re looking for something different from espresso, Burgundy also lists a Matcha Latte alongside Chai Latte, tea, Cold Brew, hot chocolate, and other café drinks.

Nearby, Leone Café at Tivoli Village is another option for coffee, pastries, breakfast, and a longer café-style meal.

A Relaxed Las Vegas French Café

Part of Burgundy’s appeal is that it works for several kinds of visits. You can stop in for a quick croissant and coffee, sit down for breakfast, meet someone for lunch, or spend some time choosing desserts from the pastry case.

There is also outdoor patio seating when Las Vegas weather cooperates. Burgundy’s official website confirms both indoor and outdoor dining, along with pickup for anyone who would rather take pastries or lunch to go.

The bakery has deeper French roots than its décor. Chef Florent Cheveau was born and raised in France, worked at Jean-Philippe Patisserie at Bellagio and Aria, later became Executive Pastry Chef at MGM Grand, and represented the United States at the 2018 World Chocolate Masters. He and his wife later opened Burgundy Bakery & Cafe as an homage to their family roots.

For locals exploring the Summerlin area, Burgundy French Bakery & Cafe is an easy neighborhood stop when the craving calls for a croissant, crêpe, sandwich, macaron, or cup of coffee.
