For an elevated Italian dinner in Summerlin, Al Solito Posto at Tivoli Village delivers a polished experience from the moment you arrive.
The upscale Italian restaurant combines familiar classics with handmade pasta, Neapolitan-style pizza, fresh seafood, an impressive bar, and a beautiful setting that works just as well for date night as it does for a celebration.
We recently visited on a weekday and were surprised by how lively it was. The bar was packed, the restaurant had a great energy, and it definitely seemed like the place to be. Between the atmosphere, attentive service, and delicious food, our dinner felt like a true night out rather than simply a meal.
An Upscale Setting at Tivoli Village
Al Solito Posto fits perfectly into the European-inspired surroundings of Tivoli Village. The restaurant offers an elegant dining room along with outdoor patio seating, giving guests the option to dine outside when the Las Vegas weather is comfortable.

The atmosphere is upscale without being overly formal. It’s sophisticated enough for an anniversary or special occasion but still comfortable for a weekday dinner with friends.
The restaurant also has a full bar, and during our visit, it was one of the busiest areas. We started the evening with beer and wine before moving on to dinner, but the cocktail selection makes the bar a destination in its own right.

Fresh Bread to Start
Before our entrées arrived, we were served complimentary freshly baked bread.
The warm bread came with olive oil filled with whole garlic and herbs, and it was delicious. It’s a simple touch, but it immediately sets the tone for an Italian dinner and gives everyone something to enjoy while deciding what to order.

Just be careful not to fill up on it because the main courses are worth saving room for.
Our Dinner Selections
We ordered several different entrées, giving us a chance to experience everything from handmade pasta and chicken to veal and seafood. Everything we tried was beautifully presented and delicious.
Rigatoni
The Rigatoni was served with vodka tomato sauce, fresh basil, and house-made fennel sausage.
The combination is comforting and familiar but elevated by the house-made components. The fennel sausage adds a savory richness to the creamy tomato sauce, while the basil brings freshness to the dish.
For pasta lovers, this is an easy choice.

Chicken Marsala
We also tried the Chicken Marsala, prepared with roasted mushrooms, pearl onions, Marsala, and roasted garlic mashed potatoes.
We substituted spaghetti for the mashed potatoes, and the restaurant accommodated the change. The pasta worked beautifully with the Marsala sauce, soaking up all of that rich flavor.
It was a hearty entrée without feeling overly heavy.

Veal Milanese
The Veal Milanese offered something completely different.
The veal is paired with arugula, tomato, Parmesan, and lemon, creating a dish that balances the meat’s richness with fresh, bright flavors. The lemon adds acidity while the arugula and tomato keep the plate feeling lighter.
It’s a great choice for anyone looking for a traditional Italian entrée outside of pasta.
Branzino Piccata
Seafood lovers should consider the Branzino Piccata.
The fish comes with a lemon-and-caper piccata sauce, charred lemon, and confit tomato. The bright citrus and salty capers complement the delicate fish without overpowering it.

With four very different entrées on our table, there wasn’t one that disappointed. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and each dish had its own distinct character.
Handmade Pasta, Pizza and Italian Favorites
While we tried several of the restaurant’s main entrées, the menu has much more to explore.
Al Solito Posto is known for its handmade pasta and Neapolitan pizzas, along with Italian appetizers, seafood, meat dishes, and other familiar favorites presented with a more refined approach.
That variety makes it a restaurant you could visit multiple times and have a completely different experience with each meal. We focused on pasta and entrées during this visit, but the pizza alone gives us a reason to return.
Happy Hour at the Bar
If you want to experience Al Solito Posto more casually, the restaurant offers Happy Hour daily from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the bar only.
Happy Hour includes a variety of appetizers and drinks, making it a great excuse to stop in before dinner or enjoy a few small plates and cocktails.

Considering how lively the bar was during our weekday visit, it’s clearly a popular part of the restaurant.
Private Dining and Celebrations
Al Solito Posto also offers several private dining and event options.
The restaurant can accommodate groups of about 20 to 200 guests, making it suitable for everything from intimate business dinners to larger celebrations and private events.

Combined with Tivoli Village’s upscale surroundings, the private dining options make the restaurant especially appealing when you’re planning an occasion that calls for something beyond a standard dinner reservation.

Italian Dining Worth Dressing Up For
Al Solito Posto gave us exactly what we hoped for in an upscale Italian dinner. The restaurant was lively even on a weekday; the bar had great energy, and every dish we ordered was delicious.

From the freshly baked bread with garlic-and-herb olive oil to the Rigatoni, Chicken Marsala, Veal Milanese, and Branzino Piccata, the meal felt thoughtfully put together.
Whether you’re planning a date night, meeting friends for cocktails, celebrating a special occasion, or simply craving handmade pasta and a glass of wine, Al Solito Posto at Tivoli Village offers a truly elevated Italian dining experience in Summerlin.
