Some restaurants leave a good first impression. Others leave you already planning your return visit before you’ve even paid the check. Brunello, a beautiful Italian restaurant tucked away in Sun City Summerlin, is firmly in the second category.
It was our first time dining at Brunello, and after a relaxed late lunch on a Saturday, one thing was crystal clear: this is a place we’ll be coming back to again and again.
From the welcoming staff to the thoughtfully crafted dishes, Brunello delivers an experience that feels both elevated and incredibly comfortable—perfect for a leisurely afternoon or a special night out.
Drawing inspiration from classic Hollywood glamour and the vibrant, sun-soaked flavors of coastal Italy, Brunello brings together the best of both worlds. The result is a restaurant that feels refined without being stuffy, warm without being casual, and memorable in all the right ways.

Old-World Inspiration Meets Modern Sun City Style
From the moment you walk in, Brunello sets the tone. The space feels elegant yet inviting, with subtle nods to European charm and Italian tradition. There’s an undeniable sense of care in the design—from the cozy dining room to the charming outdoor patio that’s perfect for enjoying Las Vegas’ beautiful weather.
Guests can choose how they want to enjoy their experience. Whether you’re dining indoors in the comfortable main dining area, enjoying a meal al fresco on the patio, or sitting at the dainty statement bar watching the chefs work their magic, Brunello makes every seat feel like the right one.
The atmosphere strikes that rare balance: upscale enough for a date night or celebration, but relaxed enough for a casual lunch with friends or family.

A Warm Welcome and Thoughtful Service
We stopped by for a late Saturday lunch, and the timing couldn’t have been better. The restaurant had a calm, pleasant energy—lively but never rushed. As soon as we sat down, we were warmly greeted by the staff, who made us feel at home immediately.
The service throughout the meal was friendly, attentive, and genuine. Nothing felt forced or overly formal. Instead, it was the kind of hospitality that makes you want to linger just a little longer, enjoy another bite, and soak in the experience.
Before we even had a chance to browse the menu, fresh bread arrived at the table, accompanied by a flavorful bruschetta-style sauce. Simple, delicious, and the perfect way to begin an Italian meal.

A Start That Set the Bar High
For appetizers, we ordered two dishes, both of which were standout choices.
Deep Fried Eggplant
This dish was unlike anything we’d had before. A whole eggplant, smoked, breaded, and deep-fried to perfection, served on a bed of walnut paste with olive oil and garlic. It was rich, comforting, and deeply flavorful, with a balance of textures that kept every bite interesting.
The smokiness of the eggplant paired beautifully with the nutty, savory walnut base. It was bold, unique, and unforgettable—one of those dishes that makes you pause mid-bite and say, “Wow.”

Sicilian Arancini
Next up were the Sicilian Arancini, filled with beef, peas, and mozzarella, served on a bed of Rosa sauce. Crispy on the outside, warm and comforting on the inside, these arancini delivered classic Italian flavors done right.
The Rosa sauce added a creamy, slightly tangy finish that tied everything together beautifully. It was familiar yet elevated, making it an excellent companion to the more adventurous eggplant dish.

Entrées That Deliver Big Flavor
By the time our entrées arrived, expectations were already high—and Brunello absolutely delivered.
Rigatoni Piccante
The Rigatoni Piccante featured spicy grilled chicken, red onion, cherry tomatoes, and a touch of cream. The spice level was just right—enough to wake up the palate without overpowering the dish.

The sauce clung perfectly to the rigatoni, and the grilled chicken added a smoky depth that balanced the heat. It was hearty, comforting, and full of personality—exactly what you want from a bold Italian pasta dish.
Salmon Carbonara
The Salmon Carbonara was a delightful twist on a classic. Made with spaghetti, egg, garlic, a touch of cream, Parmesan, and black pepper, the dish was rich without feeling heavy.

The salmon was tender and flavorful, pairing beautifully with the creamy carbonara sauce. Every element worked in harmony, creating a dish that felt indulgent yet refined—perfect for a leisurely lunch or dinner.
An Italian Experience Worth Returning For
Brunello isn’t just about great food—it’s about the full experience. From the thoughtfully curated menu to the attentive service and welcoming atmosphere, everything works together seamlessly.

Whether you’re a Sun City local looking for a new favorite spot or someone exploring the Summerlin area in search of quality Italian cuisine, Brunello is absolutely worth the visit. It’s the kind of place that feels special without trying too hard, offering comfort, flavor, and hospitality in equal measure.
For us, this first visit was just the beginning. Brunello has officially earned a spot on our list of go-to Italian restaurants—and we’re already looking forward to coming back to try more of what this beautiful restaurant has to offer.
