If you love brunch with personality, bold flavors, and a touch of Italian soul, Butterface deserves a place on your dining list.

A Brunch With Modern Style

We stopped in for a late brunch, and from the moment we stepped inside, the inviting atmosphere set the tone for a great meal. The décor is modern and elegant without feeling overwhelming.

It strikes that perfect balance between cozy and chic, making it an easy choice for both casual meals and special weekend outings.

We began with a pair of creamy lattes; the coffee here is clearly taken seriously, and it’s a great way to start the meal, whether you’re easing into the day or fueling up for a busy afternoon. From there, we tasted two of their standout dishes.

The breakfast sandwich was a delicious combination of two fried eggs, crispy bacon, mozzarella, heirloom tomato, red onion, arugula, and a bright basil-lemon aioli. All of this was layered between soft focaccia and served with roasted potatoes.

The flavors were balanced and hearty, giving you all the comfort of a classic breakfast sandwich with the elevated touches that Butterface is known for.

We also tried the Spicy Rigatoni a La Vodka, a dish made with San Marzano tomatoes, cream, and Calabrian chili peppers.

The sauce was velvety with just the right amount of heat, coating each piece of pasta beautifully — comforting, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying.

Both dishes were delicious, well-portioned, and beautifully plated.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Butterface dishes are best for sharing at brunch?

Groups can begin with whipped ricotta, fried burrata, charcuterie chips, breakfast calzones, or a butter board before sharing pizza or pasta. A mimosa flight also complements the restaurant’s social brunch atmosphere.

Does Butterface offer vegan or plant-based brunch options?

Yes. The menu includes a plant-based breakfast sandwich and vegan alternatives for selected breakfast plates, skillets, salads, pizzas, and appetizers. Because recipes and preparation methods can change, diners with allergies or strict dietary requirements should confirm ingredients with their server.

Can Butterface host a birthday brunch, baby shower, or corporate event?

Yes. Butterface offers private dining for birthdays, baby showers, corporate brunches, and intimate gatherings. Tailored event menus and catering are also available for occasions held away from the restaurant.

What should someone order at Butterface for a sweet-and-savory brunch?

One approach is to share lemon-poppyseed pancakes or peach-cobbler French toast before choosing a savory entrée such as the prosciutto Benedict, focaccia breakfast sandwich, porchetta skillet, or spicy rigatoni alla vodka. This combination showcases both the restaurant’s playful brunch side and its Italian influences.
