We stopped by The Spot LV, eager to check out what makes it a favorite among locals.

From the moment you walk in, it’s clear this is a place designed for everyone.

Guests can head left to the 21+ bar section, where craft drinks, local beers, and specialty cocktails take center stage, or go right to the family-friendly restaurant area, perfect for a casual meal with kids.

TVs line the walls in both areas, so you won’t miss a moment of the big game. Since we were only going in for a drink and a small bite, we chose the bar side, drawn by its lively energy, cozy seating, and a vibe that’s both upbeat and relaxed.

Gastro Pub
To the left, guests 21 and older can enjoy The Spot LV’s stylish gastro pub setting.

The Spot LV now occupies the former Las Vegas Brewing Co. location, carrying forward the same passion for quality that locals loved—just with a fresh new twist.

The team has managed to preserve that sense of craftsmanship while introducing a menu and atmosphere that feels both familiar and excitingly new.

Starting Off with a Perfect Bite

We began with a local draft beer, which paired beautifully with The Spot Nacho, one of the bar’s signature appetizers. This dish is a colorful and flavorful mix of chips, melted cheese, black beans, fresh tomato, jalapeño, pickled red onions, creamy avocado crema, crumbled cotija, and cilantro.

Each bite offered a satisfying combination of textures and flavors—crispy, creamy, tangy, and a little spicy. The nachos alone hinted at the care and creativity that goes into the menu, making it clear that The Spot LV is serious about quality and taste.

A Menu Full of Variety

While we didn’t explore the rest of the menu on this visit, the array of dishes on display was impossible to ignore.

From loaded fries and inventive sandwiches to hearty comfort foods like chicken mac and cheese or smoked flank steak, there’s something to satisfy nearly every craving.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can families dine at The Spot LV even though it has a 21-and-older bar?

Yes. The space is divided into two sections: a 21-and-older bar and a separate family-friendly restaurant. The dining room has televisions and a children’s menu with burgers, grilled cheese, chicken tenders, spaghetti, and fish and chips.

What does “BBQ Weekends” mean at The Spot LV?

The restaurant serves additional barbecue on Saturdays and Sundays beginning at 11 a.m. and continuing until the available meats sell out. The regular menu already incorporates brisket, pulled pork, smoked pork belly, and house bacon, while the weekend selection gives barbecue fans another reason to arrive early.

Which appetizers work best for sharing with a game-day group?

Good shareable options include The Spot Nacho, brisket mac-and-cheese egg rolls, Funky Monkey Bread, pork belly burnt ends, jalapeño popper dip, chicken wings, and Tupac Loaded Fries. Adding brisket or pulled pork to selected appetizers creates a more substantial spread.

Can families watch a game without sitting inside the bar section?

Yes. Televisions are positioned throughout both sides of the restaurant, allowing families to follow local teams and national games from the all-ages dining room. The bar offers a livelier adult atmosphere, while the restaurant side is generally better suited to children and mixed-age groups.

What happens during trivia night at The Spot LV?

The Spot hosts team trivia on Wednesday evenings, with the game currently scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. Groups can reserve a table, order shareable food and drinks, and compete without needing to sit in the 21-and-older section.
