What We Tried at Lemongrass & Lime

Our visit started with the Vegan Cauli-Fried, bite-sized tempura cauliflower coated in a sticky-sweet Thai chili glaze and finished with green onions and sesame seeds.

It was crispy outside and tender inside, with enough sweetness and heat to make it an easy dish to share before the rest of the meal.

Next came the curries. We sampled the yellow curry with chicken, made with potatoes, carrots, and onions, along with the Panang curry, a thicker coconut-milk curry with bell peppers, lime leaves, and basil.

Both arrived with steamed rice for soaking up the sauces. One useful menu note for anyone with dietary restrictions: the restaurant’s current menu states that all curries contain shellfish except the yellow curry.

During our visit, we were also able to choose our preferred spice level, which made it easy to adjust the heat to our taste.

We also tried the Pineapple Fried Rice with beef, combining pineapple, beef, cashews, vegetables, and curry seasoning in a generous portion. Another standout was the Garlic Eggplant, a savory vegetable dish that worked especially well alongside rice.
