No. 1 Boba Tea Social on Water Street sits right in the middle of one of Henderson’s busiest stretches, and on this ride, it felt fully alive. We pulled in on motorcycles, parked, and started walking with no real plan.
There was a St. Patrick’s weekend car show going on, engines revving, people circling cars, and that steady crowd that builds when something’s actually happening downtown.
You’ve got spots everywhere pulling you in. Places for drinks, food, patios, noise. You can easily end up posted somewhere just watching everything go by.
But instead, we ended up somewhere quieter.
No. 1 Boba Tea Social sits right in the middle of it all, but once you step inside, it feels completely separate from everything happening outside.
It’s also the kind of place where people stay for a while. Laptops out, conversations going, drinks sitting half-finished while people settle in.
After walking through packed sidewalks and louder spots around Water Street, it felt like a reset.
The Menu Goes Way Deeper Than You Expect
This isn’t a simple “pick a milk tea and go” kind of place.

The menu is layered, with a ton of options across different categories:
- Classic milk teas like taro, Thai tea, matcha, and brown sugar
- Flavored teas with mango, lychee, passion fruit, and more
- Slushes and smoothies like honeydew, coconut, and strawberry banana
- Specialty matcha drinks including honey lavender and ceremonial matcha
- Custom mixes where you can build your own combinations
They’ve been doing this for a long time too. No. 1 Boba Tea has been around in Vegas since the late 90s, which explains why the menu feels so built out and dialed in.
It’s not trendy for the sake of it. It’s just deep.
What We Ordered
We kept it simple but covered different ends of the menu:

- Matcha Classic Milk Tea – smooth, earthy, not overly sweet, balanced the way matcha should be
- Mango Milk – fruit-forward, slightly creamy, easy to drink without feeling heavy
- Yuenyeung – that mix of coffee and tea that hits stronger and stands out from everything else
“The matcha was clean. Not sugary, not watered down. Just solid.”
Everything felt intentional. No shortcuts, no overly sweet overload.
They Actually Serve Real Food Too
This is where it separates itself from a lot of other boba spots.
There’s a full food menu that goes beyond snacks:
- Hoisin pork belly bao
- Popcorn chicken
- Chicken potstickers
- Sweet potato fries
- Pineapple fried rice
- Tonkotsu ramen
It leans into that Asian comfort food lane without trying to overcomplicate anything. Just solid, familiar options that make sense alongside the drinks.

And then on top of that, there’s the bakery case.
Croissants, macarons, cheesecakes, ube desserts. Enough variety that you could easily come here just for something sweet and a drink.
It turns the place into more of a hangout than a quick stop.
The Loose Leaf Tea Section Adds Something Extra
One detail that stands out is the loose leaf tea area.
You can actually walk up, look at different teas, smell them, and take your time deciding. It’s not just ordering off a screen.

It gives the space a little more depth and makes it feel closer to a tea house than a typical boba shop.
Small detail, but it changes the experience.
Right in the Middle of Everything Else
That’s what makes this spot work on Water Street.
Then right between all of that, you’ve got this.
A place that’s lighter, quieter, and built for a different kind of stop.
A Spot That Fits the Flow of the Day
By the time we finished our drinks, the car show was still going. People still walking. Engines still echoing through the street.
But inside, nothing really changed.
It stayed calm.
Steady.
Easy to sit in.
No. 1 Boba Tea Social isn’t trying to compete with everything happening around it.
It’s the place you step into when you want a break from it.
And on a day like that, riding through, walking around, and taking everything in, that’s exactly what made it land.
