If you are looking for specialty pizza in Las Vegas that goes beyond the typical neighborhood pizza shop, Those Guys Pies on Desert Inn is definitely worth a visit.

This casual local spot serves East Coast-style thin-crust pizza along with cheesesteaks, wings, chicken fingers, salads, mozzarella sticks, and more, all in a fun, welcoming atmosphere.

From the moment we walked in, the restaurant had a cool energy. The decor feels modern and casual, with a laid-back vibe that makes it easy to relax and enjoy your meal. The staff was incredibly friendly throughout our visit, and the entire experience felt welcoming from start to finish.

Whether you are stopping by for a quick slice, grabbing takeout for the family, or sitting down for dinner, Those Guys Pies offers a great mix of comfort food and specialty flavors.

A Casual Spot with Personality

One thing that immediately stood out to us was how fun the restaurant feels inside. This is not your average pizza place with basic decor and a rushed atmosphere. The restaurant has personality, and you can tell they put thought into creating a place people actually enjoy hanging out in.

They also have a few arcade games inside, which is a great touch for families and kids waiting for their food. It adds to the casual neighborhood feel and makes dining in more entertaining. While many people stop in for carryout or delivery, the dine-in experience is definitely worth it, too.

The restaurant is conveniently located near Sidestreet Pho & Grill and Madhouse Coffee, making it part of a busy local food area along Desert Inn.

What We Ordered

We started our meal with the Caesar salad, which was fresh, crisp, and a great lighter option before diving into the pizza. The portions were generous, and it paired perfectly with the richer flavors of the pies we ordered.

For pizza, we tried the upside-down pizza, which quickly became one of our favorites. Unlike a traditional pizza, where the cheese goes on top, this style features the sauce layered over the cheese, creating a bold and flavorful bite with every slice.

The sauce had a rich homemade taste, and the thin crust held everything together perfectly without feeling too heavy.

We also tried the caramelized onion pizza with mushrooms, white sauce, and balsamic glaze. This pizza felt much more elevated than a traditional pie and really showcased the menu’s specialty side.

The sweetness of the balsamic glaze, combined with the caramelized onions, created a unique flavor that balanced perfectly with the creamy white sauce and mushrooms.

It is clear that Those Guys Pies focuses on creating pizzas with bold flavor combinations rather than sticking to only traditional toppings.

Pizza by the Slice

One of the best parts about the menu is that you can order pizza by the slice. This is a huge plus if you like trying different flavors or if everyone in your group wants something different.

Instead of committing to one whole pizza, you can mix and match slices from several specialty pies. Some of the available options include Buffalo Chicken, Chicken Bacon Ranch, Veggie Pie, and many more, with selections rotating daily.

Ordering by the slice also makes this a great lunch spot or quick dinner option when you are craving quality pizza without a long wait.

More Than Just Pizza

Although the pizza is definitely the star of the show, the menu also offers plenty of additional comfort-food favorites. Customers can choose from cheesesteaks, wings, chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks, salads, and subs, making it easy for groups with different cravings to all find something they like.

The variety on the menu helps Those Guys Pies stand out from many other specialty pizza spots around town. Whether you want a full meal, appetizers for the table, or just a quick slice, there are plenty of options to choose from.

East Coast Inspiration Done Right

Those Guys Pies takes pride in their East Coast-style pizza, and you can absolutely taste the difference. According to the restaurant, they spent years perfecting their dough and techniques to create the ideal hand-tossed pizza experience.

Many of their recipes are also made in-house, helping give each dish a more unique flavor. The attention to detail is evident, especially in the crust’s texture and the quality of the toppings.

The pizza has that classic thin-crust style that folds easily yet holds up well to heavier toppings and sauces. It delivers the kind of flavor and texture many East Coast pizza fans look for.

A Local Favorite with Multiple Locations

With three locations across the Las Vegas valley, Those Guys Pies has built a strong local following. It is easy to see why people keep coming back. The combination of specialty pizza, casual atmosphere, friendly service, and creative menu options makes it stand out in the local dining scene.

It is the kind of place that works equally well for a casual family dinner, grabbing food with friends, or even a quick late-night pizza craving.
