This New Year’s Eve, we reserved a table at our go-to spot for special occasions — Vintner Grill in Summerlin.
It’s the kind of restaurant that feels celebratory without being flashy, refined without feeling stiff. Whether it’s a holiday dinner, a milestone moment, or simply a night when you want everything to feel a little elevated, Vintner Grill continues to deliver.
For those who haven’t yet discovered it, Vintner Grill is a restaurant worth getting familiar with — even if its location might surprise you.
A neighborhood gem hiding in plain sight
Vintner Grill is tucked into one of the most unexpected places for a fine dining experience — a commercial area surrounded by office buildings. Step inside, however, and the setting quickly fades away.
The space blends an old Vegas sensibility with modern touches. Background music hums just loud enough, servers move with purpose in proper attire, and guests arrive dressed for the occasion. It’s casual elegance, thoughtfully executed.

One of the restaurant’s standout features is its expansive outdoor patio, a favorite among locals. Unfortunately, our visit landed on a rare rainy night in Las Vegas, so patio photos will have to wait for our next visit.
Plan ahead — this place fills up
The dining room was full, as it usually is, which speaks volumes on its own. Reservations are strongly recommended, though the bar is always an option if you’re feeling spontaneous.
Proper attire is part of the experience. This isn’t a flip-flops-and-graphic-tee destination, and that commitment to atmosphere is part of what keeps Vintner Grill feeling timeless.

Service that sets the tone
Our server greeted us shortly after we were seated, introduced himself, and walked us through the evening’s specials — including seasonal dishes and New Year’s Eve cocktails.
Service throughout the night was attentive, polished, and well-paced, allowing the evening to unfold comfortably without ever feeling rushed.

Starting the evening
House Bread
Served warm with light butter and olive oil, the house bread set the tone immediately — simple, comforting, and easy to linger over.

Calamari
Crispy calamari paired with haricot verts, lemon, and curry aioli offered a perfect balance of crunch, acidity, and warmth.

Beet Salad
Oven-roasted beets layered with baby spinach, lavender goat cheese, mango, hazelnuts, and mustard vinaigrette delivered a bright, well-balanced start.

Lobster Bisque
Rich, velvety, and deeply flavorful, the lobster bisque was one of those bowls you wish wouldn’t end.

Main courses worth the wait
Pan-Seared Halibut
Served with couscous, orzo, sweet tomatoes, baby spinach, and lemon gremolata, the halibut was delicate, fresh, and beautifully composed.

Seared Mediterranean Sea Bass
Marbled baby potatoes, haricots verts, baby heirloom tomatoes, and a Meyer lemon beurre blanc rounded out a clean, balanced dish.

Braised Lamb Bolognese
Black pepper tagliatelle topped with house-made truffle ricotta and fresh grated nutmeg brought depth and comfort to the table.

Moroccan-Spiced Australian Rack of Lamb
Paired with creamy polenta, baby vegetables, and red wine reduction, this dish delivered bold flavor without overpowering the palate.

Prime Bone-In Ribeye (18oz)
Served with Yukon gold potato hash, rosemary, arugula, and balsamic port wine reduction, the ribeye was rich, satisfying, and cooked to perfection.

A complete dining experience
The food was excellent, the service was attentive to every request, and the night unfolded with plenty of laughs and great conversation.
While prices lean toward the higher end, they feel entirely reasonable given the quality of the food, the professionalism of the service, and the overall fine dining experience.

A Summerlin staple
Vintner Grill has earned its reputation as a Summerlin staple. It’s a restaurant locals return to for celebrations, date nights, and family dinners alike.
