The picnic pavilions are spacious and shaded, which matters a lot during Vegas summers. There are also plenty of benches and picnic tables throughout the park so families can spread out comfortably.

The Sports Area Makes This Park Feel Different

Gardens Park is not just a playground park. It is also a full sports park.

The multi-sports area includes:

• A full-sized lighted basketball court with six hoops
• Two lighted tennis courts
• Skate park

The basketball area especially gets busy in the evenings when the Vegas sun starts calming down.

The tennis courts are open daily from 6 AM to 10 PM, which is honestly great for people trying to avoid the heat.

And if you have skateboard kids or scooter kids, the skate park is a huge bonus. It is open daily from 7 AM to 10 PM and always seems full of teenagers practicing tricks while younger kids watch in complete amazement.

Walking Paths and Evening Vibes

One underrated thing about Gardens Park is how pretty it gets later in the day.

The lighted walking paths make evening walks feel peaceful and safe. Families stroll around while kids ride scooters ahead of them. People sit on benches, watching basketball games or watching as sunset colors hit the mountains.
