Vegas had bars. Vegas had lounges. Born And Raised Henderson offered something somewhere in between, and during our visit, that balance felt just right.

From the moment we walked in, there was a strong sense of local pride in the air.

Whether guests came for a game, a late-night bite, or simply wanted somewhere that did not feel overly staged, Born And Raised created an experience that was difficult to forget.

A Philosophy That Felt Very Personal

Born And Raised was created with care, intention, and most of all—with people in mind. Its philosophy centered on a simple idea: take care of the customer first, and everything else follows.

That approach showed up throughout the room, from the booths to the service and the interactions with staff.

The Henderson location reinforced that sense of identity with a photo mural featuring family members and other notable people connected to the history and legacy of Born And Raised.

The culture was noticeable without becoming overwhelming. It felt like a neighborhood gathering place built around community, cocktails, sports, and Las Vegas identity.

A Design That Honored Old & New Vegas

There was a reason the lounge area at Born And Raised stayed memorable.

Leather booths with dark orange and brown tones added a polished, contemporary look while keeping the space comfortable. It felt elevated without becoming overly formal.

Flat-screen TVs were positioned throughout the room so guests could follow the action without constantly turning around. In the center, the largest screen naturally became the focal point during major games.

Then there was the massive portrait from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas starring Johnny Depp. The image brought a little Hunter S. Thompson chaos into the room and felt like a playful nod to an older, stranger side of Las Vegas.

It was an unexpected touch, but it fit the room. The combination of thoughtful design and bold personality kept the space interesting without feeling forced.

Flavors That Spoke Louder Than Bar Bites

The starters at Born And Raised went beyond basic bar snacks.

The award-winning wings were an easy place to start. Sauces ranged from buffalo and miso to ghost chili and other variations, giving guests plenty of options.

The wings were served by the pound and coated with the restaurant’s signature sauces. I ordered a mix of garlic parmesan and classic BBQ, and they delivered plenty of flavor.

Other choices included fried Brussels sprouts glazed in house sauce and crispy zucchini served with lemon aioli.

The Best Coast Tots piled ground Angus beef and grilled onions over golden tater tots, while options such as Buffalo Chicken Dip, Gang Gang Shrimp Tacos, and Texas-style nachos pushed the menu further into full comfort-food territory.

Even something as simple as con queso with warm tortilla chips and chorizo offered more substance than expected.

For the main course, burgers were one of the easiest choices. I ordered the Black & Bleu Burger, crusted with black pepper and topped with rich bleu cream cheese and caramelized onions.

Guests looking for more heat could order the Mexico City burger with crispy jalapeños, chipotle mayo, and pepper jack cheese.

The menu leaned heavily into comfort food, but many dishes still found ways to add their own personality.

The Bar Featured Classic Cocktails With A Vegas Twist

The full bar at Born And Raised offered beer, seltzers, wine, mocktails, and cocktails.

I ordered a Moscow Mule, which arrived bright, clean, and strong enough to match the food and atmosphere.

The cocktail list combined familiar drinks with small twists. The Huckleberry Lemonade mixed Blue Ice Huckleberry vodka, fresh lemon juice, and triple sec, finished with blueberries and a sugar rim.

The Whiskey Peach combined Old Forester Bourbon, peach schnapps, and lime juice for a sweet and smooth drink.

The Tequila Made Me Do It mixed Flecha Azul Reposado with muddled berries, Aperol, lemon juice, and agave.

The Bargartia took the familiar margarita and allowed guests to choose between jalapeño or habanero-infused tequila for additional heat.

The Cucumber Mojito offered something lighter with cucumber vodka, lime, and mint.

The drinks matched the overall character of the bar: approachable, recognizable, but with enough personality to keep things interesting.

Where Vegas Watched The Knights, Rivalries, and More

Sports were a major part of the Born And Raised Henderson experience.

Born And Raised was associated with the Vegas Golden Knights, and game nights brought a noticeable increase in energy.

Projectors and televisions showed everything from NHL and college football to UFC and basketball.

The layout made it easy to follow a game from almost anywhere in the room while still enjoying a full meal rather than relying only on typical sports-bar snacks.

There was plenty of fan energy, but the room did not feel like a competition over who cared the most.

That balance made the Henderson location comfortable for serious sports fans and more casual guests alike.

Big Moments Deserved Big Rooms—And They Had One

The Henderson location also accommodated larger groups.

A private room provided space for birthdays, game-day gatherings, bachelor parties, and work outings that felt more relaxed than traditional event spaces.

Groups could still order from the same food and drink menus while getting additional space and privacy.

The bar also sold merchandise for guests who wanted to represent the Born And Raised brand.

Remembering Born And Raised Henderson

Born And Raised did not need to demand attention. During our visit, much of its appeal came from the way the food, drinks, service, sports, and Las Vegas identity worked together.

It was a bar, a lounge, and a neighborhood gathering place rolled into one.

Guests could arrive for a game, meet friends for food, settle into a lounge booth with cocktails, or turn a regular night into a longer stay.

That ability to serve several purposes at once was part of what made the Henderson location memorable.
